Hello aIl,

I was having the same problem as everyone else, after the install of Mass Effect 2 it would freeze after the click load or the second load screen.

I am running windows 7 on an AMD A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, dual core 64 processor.

I was getting the same issue where it would only show 1 core in the config application.

All I did was install the movie file patch that gets you past the click load screen issue and then I updated my processor with the latest download dealing with the dual core issue.

Now the game is running fine and I have been playing for a few hours and no freeze.

Just thought I would give this info to anyone who can be helped by it!
