Boy, I sure could use a healer in my party.  Can anyone non-spoilingly tell me if I missed picking her up as companion?  Does it happen early on?  I'm about 12 ish hours or so in... I don't really need to know specifics, but I think I remember meeting her while I was doing the early Ostragar stuff and I'm afraid I didn't bother her enough or something and missed my opportunity...

As long as you visit the circle tower and go through that main story quest, you can't possibly miss her

I just finished the circle tower, no sign of Wynne for me... Possibly because I was already a bloodmage and sided with the templars? Not sure. I don't particularly want/need Wynne anyways.

if you are a blood mage wynne leaves your party or will not join.  but as long as your not a blood mage you can not miss wynne and once you have her it is amazing how much she helps.

Morrigan can easily handle healing duties while dpsing with some management and/or tactics and/or potions. Herbalism is good, you can make a surprising amount of health poultices. The basic heal spell has lasted me up to level 10 already, and its a first tier.

Yeah I hadn't realized that I had set Morrigan to auto level on accident.  Doh.  I was wondering if she could heal a little...

I dislike relying on poultices right now...

Do you mean during the battle preparations at Ostagar?

If so, then nope - she doesn't join you then - you can only talk to her briefly.

OK, cool. I thought I was crazy after reading this thread. Only played about 5 hours so far.
