 I've recruited Jack, but I can't for the life of me find out where she is on the Normandy. The elevator says she's on the engineering level, but she's nowhere to be seen.  I thought she might show up if I went and did some other side missions, but no, she's still completely missing. What's going on?

Engineering deck, watch for the stairs going down beneath Tali and the other engineers. They are in the short corridors that link the engine room to the elevator.

Go to the bottom floor. Head into engineering; on the side of the short corridor between the main hallway and engineering are stairs down. Take them. Jack hides out down there.
