I like to use the dog to look for items, he brings back some useful ones. Have him search, swap him out, enter a new area and swap him back in, search, then swap him back out. I also probably use him in combat more than most. I find Dread Howl extremely effective.

This one time, my dog dug up a dirty pair of pants, covered in dog drool and suspicious looking mud.

With all the Ice stun by Morrigan and Alister pulling all the aggro, i left that Ez-Mode option and i only bring 2 of my melee companions. My war dog and Rogue and i wanna try beat the game with only those 2 : )

It's a bit challenge but i luv it so far.

dog wasn't not my first choice... but with the extra dog slot mod in my second playthrough, i am totally enjoying dog in the party...



i think that was the way it should have been implemented in the 1st place, rather than taking a full companion slot

yeah... summoning Dog would be a cool Talent to have
