Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU     E8400  @ 3.00GHz, 4 Gb Corsair, ATI 4890, speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio), Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, DirectX 10.0  (Mar2009) or later and all the latest drivers for every hardware in the Pc of course.

The crashes starting to get annoying.....Posted Image

same here - AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.2 GHz, 8 GB OCZ Reaper, ATI 5850, Realtek HDA, W7 Profesional 64 bit --> game crashes every time I try to use weapon locker

(ME2 worked fine on the same rig except of OS -- I used Vista 64bit Ultimate - ME2 worked with no issues at all...)

One "Me, Too" was sufficient. All the rest literally amount to SPAM.  You should have created one single message that was all your own to summarize your situation.  I do see that it appears you did not perform a clean install of Windows 7; not a good idea.  Other than that, nothing looks glaringly guilty.

What results from a Clean Boot diagnostic run?  (Look it up at Microsoft -- different pages / procedures for each Windows.)

one "me too" was insufficient due to no wise replies/no remedy for the issue... dont tell me what the spam is - 'coz it wasnt me who started all those topics - I can and I will write as many post as i want to till BioWare will find a cure for that problem (maybe they will read one of those topics someday)

your assumpions are wrong - I do have a FRESH install of Windows 7... and everything (+ every other game) work with no problems except of ME2 and this specific bug... so dont be so puffed up - If U dont have anything wise to write dont write at all pls...

problem SOLVED! (at least for me) -
in my case the problem was caused by Catalyst driver (10.3) - why am I so sure?
after almos two weeks of struggle I decided to install Vista 64bit as a dual boot OS - than I used drivers that came with my video card (ASUS EAH5850) and there was no single problem with playing ME2 so I logged back into Win 7 and removed CCC 10.3 and cleaned every single bit of that crappy code from my machine - than I tried to instal ASUS drivers but than SURPRISE!!! I wasnt able to do that because Win7 couldnt recognize ASUS signature o.O after some research I installed drivers from here: http://support.asus....SLanguage=en-us (the top one) without update to CCC 10.3 and voila! ME2 runs smoothly at max details (same goes to Fallout3 with bunch of graphics mods, which wouldnt even start under CC10.3) !!

I guess there must be some incompatibility between Win7 64bit + Phenom II x4 + AUS EAH5850 and Catalyst Drivers 10.3 - maybe its just ASUS EAH5850 and CCC 10.3

btw. sorry for my english - its not my mothertongue :alien:

I had the same problem, but somehow I managed to fix it. I installed .NET Frameworks 3.5, updated DirectX and installed dual-core optimizer for my AMD Athlon X2. I didn't have a single crash ever since.
