Hey guys and gals.
First of all - game looks ok. Sadly not Excellent. Blurry textuures and no AF - i guess its all coz of consoles, but screw it.
First interesting thing is
AnisotropicFilteringLevel=0
I guess setting it to 16 will improve visual quality a bit. I forced it thru drives so i couldnt notice even if it changed anything.
Sadly, unlike in ME1 (which engine is used here also i guess) ini does not give us much options.
I still wonder what those lines mean:
DisableMRT=0
DisableAspectRatioCorrection=0
Also if someone can tell me how to increase the LOD distance? Developers maybe?
DragonAge.ini options and other graphical tweaks

Yeah, it's not looking like many tweaks are going to help this game.
I play at 1680x1050 max settings, 60fps+...runs perfect. I went into my graphics and bumped everything up such as Anisotropic 16xQ and all that mess..it really didn't make much of a difference to me..and unforunately this won't make bad textures look better...
I think we just get what we get with DA:O..until someone makes some mod tweaks or something.

AspectRatioCorrection, if you read the readme files and other documentation you would know what it does. Auto adjusts aspect ration when running at monitors native resolution so you dont get squashed/stretch game screen. This is mostly for people using HDtv's for a monitor and(i am assuming though not 100% sure) someone with a high rez CRT to get a proper widescreen effect.

This engine is not the same as mass effect's, this time Bioware used there own engine instead of the unreal 3, that is why there is difference in the ini.
Tweak would not help anyways, what we need are completely new textures

So whos gonna make new textures? Is it possible to make your own textures in that "builder" thing?
I wonder if its a engine thing... that it can't handle "better" textures? ha.

I noticed some big things in the ini file..
TexturePack=2 (I researched this and found there is a Medium, and a High textures pack..I guess in the HIGH pack they didn't have time to make some high textures so they have lows in there..OR they are messed up and calling the wrong textures.)
DisableMRT=0 Not sure what MRT is
UseTrilinearFiltering=0
UseTripleBuffering=0
AnisotropicFilteringLevel=0
ForceLowSettings=0
Why is it there is not even an option for Triple Buffer and Trilinear Filtering in the options..maybe it's because they don't have any impact on the game? Which as said above no tweak is going to make this game look any different..we smiply need new textures..and also FramebufferEffects need to be fixed..
