So, I did the mission for the Asari boss of Underworld...she told me about a cache I could have. I thought it would go to my journal, but I do not see it there. Where is it located?
Thanks!

Anywhere?

^ I have the same question as you. It's either a broken quest, or there's a trick to figuring it out that has yet to be answered.

I saw it fine when I zoomed out in the galaxy map, though I don't remember what it was labeled as. Definitely "Cache" something or other, though.

Weird. I don't see it on the galaxy map, either.

I got it in the journal, same place where the old quest for her was--under assignments.

Bizarre. I don't have it there. I wonder why...

Yeah I had the same problem

I can't seem to find a way to make it appear. I tried talking to her again, no luck. Hrm.
What system/planet is it on? I am going to try to find it manually.

Did you switch to disc two before getting the cache?
#11

No - I got no such message.

I meant did you progress past that point in the game before attempting to retrieve the cache? i suspect there is a certain point at which the cache stops appearing on your galaxy map, i saw it, but waited to retrieve it and ended up missing it like you did.

No, I haven't gotten to the point where I had to put in the 2nd disc. I went to go look for it right after I finished up on Omega.

Sorry for the bump, but I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to solve this yet.

You can do the quest if you scan the planet before going to Omega... Is it possible you already did the quest?
#16
Posté 29 janvier 2010 - 11:29
No, I haven't done it. I went straight to Omega, and then right after I got the quest I left Omega to do it, but then it was not in my journal.

OK, well. Since it doesn't want to reappear in my journal, could someone give me the planet and system the cache is located so I can see if I can find it manually?
Thanks.
Thanks.

this happend to me too. furthermore, i went through every star system to see if i could find it while i was scanning and i didn't find it at all. other than her mentioning it, it seemed to not exist for me in the game. no messages, no info on the quests lists or anything.

Yeah, this is the exact same problem I had. She mentions it, and it never shows up anywhere. I am hoping that if someone gives me the planet and system location I can find it, although your experience is not exactly making me too hopeful.

well, it might be a bug or something unless it doesn't count wherever it is as part of the explored system when you search a system (the % meter behind the name of every system to you search means the % of planets / ships / anything in that system you've been to) i had 100% on every system, so i have no idea.
I didn't look incredibly hard for it if it's just floating around in some system without a tag or something. it could be like in ME1 where you had to seach astroid belts to find hidden things...if that's not the case then i have no idea.

Well...if someone would post the location, that would help enormously - then it could at least be verified that it cannot be found. I went to check 1up.com to see if they had the cache location - ironically, they had the very same problem...and no location.

Hourglass Nebula - Faryar - Daratar

Thank you! I shall check it out immediately and see if the cache can still be found. If not...something to fix in an inevitable patch I suppose.

Well, unfortunately, it seems the quest is broken in my game. I went to Daratar, there is no option to land, and when I scan the planet, no anomalies show up. I guess it is like the quest trigger never happened. Well...considering starting from an earlier savegame...am I missing anything particularly valuable or neat from the cache?

Nothing at all, Just a really short assignment to destroy 3 heavy mechs and a few credits as reward. It is really weird, you don't even need the quest to discover the anomaly there. In my playthrough I scanned the planet and finished the assignment before Aria gave me the location.
