This has happened to me twice in a row. I get her daughter back to the apartment and go through the conversation. When Samara comes it goes into a cut scene and they start throwing biotics at each other. About 1/3rd through the cut scene when the daughter says something like "I am the genetic dest------". The audio comes back in the mission complete scene right after. On disk 2, disk instaled to HDD.

I was able to get around this proublem by deleting the disk image from the HDD and playing the game off the CD.

I didn't install disk 2 to my HDD and the sound still dropped for me.

I tried deleting my installed games, but it didn't work. The sound still cuts off on that part. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have to bring my copy back to the store for this one little bug?

For now I guess I could just turn the subtitles on for a little bit.

Same happened with me, twice as I loaded a previous save to see if it was just a glitch.



Subtitles, which are too small by the way, were a godsend in this area to figure out what the hell was happening in this scene.

Had the exact same problem , I had disc 2 installed on my HDD , but I highly doubt that's the reason. I hope someone from Bioware notices this and a patch will come

i got the same prob too, and for the krogan loyalty too

Same for me, with the game installed. It's the only scene that's given me that problem.

Are you joking? Some of us can't read the gnikcuf text, let alone here the audio.

In regards to some eta on a patch? Who knows.
