I liked both romances, but I have a tender spot for Garrus' romance more rather than Thane, IMO.

I find Thane to be a far, FAR superior character to Garrus, in just about every way. Garrus is a good friend and a bro, but that's as far as he gets in my books.

Thane is a sexy badass who is always such moving quotes and a very interesting backstory who will die eventually because of Kepral's Syndrome.

Looking forward to my Garrus romance, although I am curios about Thane, but I'm still going with Garrus (only about a third of the way through ME2...).
Also, I'm not sure how people see Garrus as a bird and Thane as a fish - Garrus is an insect (has mandibles, thin body structure and an exoskeleton) and Thane is a reptile, and suprisingly so are Asari (didn't notice their scales for a while).
