Well Bioware has said they do know what Quarians look like underneath the helmet/suit, so it's more a matter of what they think Tali herself looks like. Honestly, I would have liked to see a Quarian marine or similar with the faceplate broken, just to give us something to go on.

When she is romanced in ME3 and from earlier versions, she'll give you that as a surprise in your cabin. Also, notice the 3 fingers. She's a hottie.

 So romancing Tali finally payed off but I wish the Quarians looked like ya know Aliens not like Italians who dont know pointing a camera at the sun is wrong

you actually do get to see tali's face but you have to romance her and get the geth and quarians on your side
