I'd like to ask why we can't choose voice and subtitle language as in Dragon Age.. I want to enjoy Martin Sheen, Michael Dorn and others acting Bioware is so proud of. I have the french version of the game and managed to turn it into English (voice and subs), but it would be much easier than tweaking the registry if Bioware had included this in the game options or in the configuration tool at least...
So, Please Bioware, patch the game (or the configuration tool) so that we can choose Voice Language and Subtitles Language..

I purchased the game from a German download store and they altered the installer so it didn't ask for the language version. In the install files and the game folders the English files are present, but how do I force the game to load (or force the installer to install) the English version?
Please help!

No I have English audio and German text. Acceptable. I have the suspicion that www.gamesload.de actually removed THE ONE file BIOGame_INT.tlk from their install package. All other files are in both DEU and INT versions available.

I tweaked my French game to get English voices and subtitles this way (please note that I'm under Win XP and have a DVD version of the game):
in the file :../Mass Effect 2/SKU.ini :
change:
|VOLanguage=FRA
|TextLanguage=FRA
to
|VOLanguage=INT
|TextLanguage=INT
and in the registry (Start Menu>execute>type regedit>enter)
look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFWARE>BIOWARE>MASS EFFECT 2 for the line 'language'. Double clic on it and change 'fr' (for me as it was in french) to 'en'
And you're done.. The first time you launch the game, the launcher might say you're missing a file. It doesn't matter. It won't say it anymore after the first time..
