Any info on that?

Yep:  Paragon persuade or no loyalty for you.  No cut dialogue for a Renegade solution to that path exists either.  Your only option for a successful Renegade outcome is to let those people burn.

Not quite true.....

If you do the mission AFTER the Suicide Mission, and you rescue the workers, you can do a Renegade option.................

To let Zaeed burn with the factory........:o:O:O

Well, you don't get his loyalty if he's dead, now do you?

Well, he has a pretty high hold the line score, so unless you take Grunt, Jacob or Garrus to the end, then he will probably live through the SM, so it isn't that hard to do his mission afterwards.

Think the mission's paragon requirement scales with level?

During one particular playthrough, I completed the mission without killing Vido with a paragon check. This was only after recruiting Garrus and Mordin.

Still though, I always thought killing Vido was a much better idea in the long run. Never quite understood why it was a renegade option.

All checks are based on a type of sliding scale as far as the total number required

They are all based on a percentage of how may points you have versus how may points you could have based on the number of places you have been.

So if you have been to 5 bases which can earn you a total of 100pt Paragon, and you only have 50 then you have a 50% possible score and if the check requires a 65% to pass you fail/don't get the choice.(easy numbers used)

This makes Paragade/renegon Shepard miss many later checks that he might otherwise make earlier in the game.
Pure Shepards don't matter as much, but non-imported can still run into issues.

Hey, thanks guys. I think in that case, I'll let him burn .
Interesting that this is only possible after finishing the game. I didn't know that there were dialogue options flagged for that.

Well said Val. I can't believe how many people complain about multiple posts or rehashing old posts. If you don't want to read a thread again, then don't keep reading the 5, 10, 15 replies just so you can flame the original poster.

Thank you. I don't come her often, but it's usually the same old story when i do. I can appreciate that a lot of people post here regularly, but that's no reason to react rudeley when somebody that doesn't poses a perfectly valid question.

And thank you too, Zan51. I will try that on my next playthrough. I remember managing to peacefully resolve the Miranda/Jack conflict on my first playthrough, but on my second (in which i imported my ME2 character at level 30) i couldn't. So that explanation makes sense.

You necro a months dead thread to ask a question. When someone gives you a correct and complete answer, you tell them they're wrong. When you get corrected, you get huffy and sarcastic, then complain we are being elitist and rude. Then you tell us we are lacking people skills.
