It took me nearly 30 minutes to activate and start the game after several attempts. Some people have not succeded yet and have spent lots of time and money (phone calls) trying to get the legitimate software working.

Please for f***s sake do not use multiple DRMS!!!!!!!
You will only drive people to piracy, especially since it is much much easier to play this game pirated. Hint, no DRM.

add another 15 f*****g minutes since I apparently also have do "activate" my already activated and downloaded DLC in the game as well. so now I have to quit the game, change setting to windowed mode and restart and type in the keys I already have used on your website

I never got these complains. They were there for Dragon Age: Origins as well... Yet I managed to activate everything and was playing after installing the game within 5 minutes. With both games... figures.

At least you have a key. My DVD case didn't contain one and EA/Bioware are ignoring the issue.

I know it's a stupid question, but...did you download the files, install them and are they there in your ME2/DLC directory ?

yes

apparantly I have activated it on 2 different email-adresses. thats what DRM gives you...
Bioware on my hotmail-adress and EA on my gmail adress. I have 2 accounts on EA it seems, one hotmail and one gmail.

how do I fix this?

Hmm can't you just use the eMail address you use for the social site ?

...other than that I got no more ideas. Worked right out of the box for me. I registered my game here on the social site, downloaded all the DLC and logged in into ME2 with my social site email address and password.

have called EA support and they said I should get new codes from D2D.

I that doesnt work I guess I just have to go the illegal way to play my legitimally purchased game....

I apparently had two different mail adresses on EA social site, and registered the game on the wrong one.

Then how is it Bioware's fault you made a mistake?

Just send them an email saying you made a mistake and stuff, they'll maybe oh,help?

I would not have made that mistake had it not been for the draconian DRM. They treat us as potential criminals.

anyway my problem is solved but have cost me time (a few hours) and money (EA support call)

They wouldn't have to implement those "draconian DRM" measures if people would play fair.

Don't confuse cause and effect.
