My elf's a bit wary around humans, but he might warm up to you if you're not Chantry.


@JEBesh: Okay, Japanese history/culture nerding time: All Kabuki actors today are men, and it's been that way for about three hundred years. Tradition dictates that women cannot perform in Kabuki plays; instead, they're often played by actors who specialize in playing women - they're known as "onnagata."

Funny thing is? Kabuki was founded by a Shinto shrine priestess, and originally women were the only ones performing on stage. However, because Kabuki started as a "poor man's entertainment," it quickly became a front for illegal brothels. This eventually led to the Tokugawa shogunate banning women from the stage to take care of the problem. It worked, and the men-only thing just kind of stuck, even after Kabuki became a form of high-class entertainment in Japan.

I assume you're kidding. If not, no worries. Geisha have nothing to do with kabuki. They're essentially multi-talented entertainers who provide services for small groups/individuals, and they're always women. There's a common misconception that they're prostitutes, but that's a complete fallacy.
