I'm sure that's what Kanye thinks ;)

(Nerts, I was trying to go this whole time without making a Kanye joke! Oh well, can't be helped...)

His girlfriend is a good example of a near-bald woman who's damn sexy, I think.

I'd have to say Servant of Nature's profile pic girl. She's just beautiful. Stunningly beautiful.

Oh, thank you!  Yours is one of the prettier ones I have see, too.  Very haunting.

I think Mishki here (Dalish elf rogue) is significantly less-pretty than Moll.

Servant of Nature's avatar is really pretty, but also looks very young. Like maybe that character is in her mid-teens?

Anytime someone makes a joke about a douchebag, an angel of heaven gets their wings.

If I can say this without being burned at the stake or something, I was considering her around 15-16, even though I plan a romance with Alistair (if it works out like I hope it will at least).  She's really naive, too much so to be an adult I think.

16 is legal in many countries, and in a fantasy or medieval setting getting married at 14 isn't so very unusual. Hopefully no stakes will be required.

Considering girls were often married by that age in medieval times to men MUCH older than that, I don't see the big deal with that. Could be an interesting roleplaying aspect, even though I doubt the game itself would "know" your character's age. As far as we know, there's no set ages for the origins, just a vague guideline, right?

Right, you just never know how people will react. I think the City Elf has the highest potential for being a younger character,

*minor city elf spoilers*

given the arranged marriage thing,

end spoilers

so I kind of ran with that. I am glad people are sensible about this.

Back then girls were considered adult when they hit puberty.  Marriage was based on sociopolitical factors, was almost always arranged by the parents, and of course you were expected to reproduce.  An older man would generally be a better provider, and so was technically a more desireable match.  But also--and this fits right in with the City Elf origin--as I understand it, the local lord was allowed to claim rights to any peasant woman he pleased on her wedding night.  So yes, I'd say the relationship would be in character, especially since the girl might not be sure what to do without her parents arranging the match for her.

So far, these forums have shown an overall strong level of maturity (you know, for an Internet community). I'm not sure if it's because only awesome people are attracted to this place, or because the site's still in beta/new and therefore we're small in number and the jackasses haven't moved in yet. I fear a little that it's the latter.

^ Exactly this. The forums seem to also be populated by a fair amount of better educated folk - at least, in the historical sense.

I think partly this is because that the game has a mature rating. Of course that doesn't prevent younger peeps from coming in here (or indeed playing the game) but it surely helps.

Agreed, but Mature rated games sometimes also attract immature older folk. But it probably is part of the factor.

Right, right... Bringing us back on topic, I'm digging Ekardt's avatar. I haven't seen too many small-nosed dwarf males that I liked, but his pulls it off.

One has to wonder how long it will last. Hopefully the atmosphere will survive launch and never become like more nefarious forums.

And to be on topic, I'm glad at least a few people like mine. Can't  compete with the more popular people though :P.
JEBesh is still my favorite male avatar I've seen, and I like the way Brass_Buckles' Mishki looks (probably my favorite female so far).
