It's a little known fact that dwarfs attribute their magic resistance to their magnificent beards .
Their flavor savor acts as a magical insulator developed over generations from leaning over hot forges.  This has helped them build up a tolerance, particularly to fire and weapons imbued with magical energies therin.  Careful awareness of their surroundings and proximinty to wicked hot blanks of metal have also given them a wisdom to plan their course of action and contributed to their brilliant craftmanship, thier diplomacy, and strategic knowledge in battle.  Of course all this flies out the window in the presence of alcohol.  Their one weakness is to OVER think a problem.  Thankfully, their love of strong ale helps them carry through with the course of action after planning is completed.  Unfortunately by being the solution to one problem, their love of the drink has made it their solution to many of their problems, and this has become problematic for most other races  .

Every race has their set of problems, the elves should be thankful that they do not have the gift of beard to needlessly complicate their mystical comptemplations

Yep, DalishRanger looks pretty good. I'm trying to create a decent looking character, but have not been this successful for the moment. My elves look to feminine and my humans just look like some Alistair or Daveth clone...
