so does any one else think that tali's abilities are bad.  I was so pumped up to get tali then to find out she does not have overload  , sure the drone is good to a degree, but AI hacking is useless most of the time, then her extra skill is just plain stupid. she seems so weak compared to other people. Any one else feel this way

Her powers have gotten me out of more binds then anyone else, the Combat drone is a prefect way to pull fire off you and AI Hacking Larger mechs ((hell even smaller mechs)) Also pull fire off you her whole power set is based off of pulling the enemy fire away from you.

I agree. I was getting tired of always dragging Miranda on my missions for an extra overload. When I saw Tali I thought to myself, "Suh-weet! I get to change it up."



Exactly how I survived Tali's loyality mission is beyond me.. she died so many times I lost count. Sad to see the 'engineer' is such a weak comrade.

I agree with the lack of overload, but I found here branched attack drone awsome against enemies with barriers especially harbingers vessel in the suicide mission.

It not only distracted him long enough it also did significant damage.

I won't lie, her abilites make it so she's not necessarily the bast ally to have in your squad. However, once you fully upgrade her abilites she's actually quite fun to play with, if perhaps not a powerful ally. AI hacking is just wicked sweet. seriously, knock out a geth prime's shields real fast then hack it and watch it destroy all the little ones. At the very worst you hack it when there's no others around and quickly blow it up as it stands there not knowing what to do. I haven't used energy drain but it sounds really useful against shielded opponents. And the drone is surprisingly useful. I set mine to blow up, and would just have it fly into massive groups of enemies so it was a good time.



But yeah, know what you mean. ON the harder settings i'm not sure she's playable, but she's quite amusing to play around with. If she had overload she'd rock vs synthetics.



On a side note, does anyone else whish their allies all had just 1 more power to play with?

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.  srsly, they limited the powers too much in this game, boo to that.
