All of a sudden, the lack of a Liara continuation in ME2 doesn't feel too bad.

That really hit me on a deep level, and I immediately reloaded my save to pick the "neutral" option to let Tali know that, yes, I am still interested, but it has to be safe. She just seemed overjoyed to know that Shepard didn't forget her, that she wasn't just another alien on the ship, and that she could finally have a shot with Shepard How could you say no to her?
I am wondering why BioWare made the "good" option say no to Tali. I think her romance is just as deep as Liara's (and I think Liara's romance was the deepest one possible in the original ME). Telling her you are interested in her and have feelings for her seems like the right thing to do.

Maybe it's the good option because she WILL get sick - and if you slept with her in ME2 she's going get sick and die in ME3......
I doubt that is the case I mean hell 1 quarian had a suit breach from a ****ing bullet shot with out any of the pre steps Tali took it be pretty ****ed up that Mr. Rambo took a suit breach bullet shot and was just fine after it and tali who took step to help prevent it and even talking to one of the galaxies best doctors to make sure it safe only to falls over and die.
That like having the illusive man survive a Hail of bullet fire and Shepard fall over dead from chocking on a mars bar.
I understand the fandom of Tali has made allot people hate her but jeez people just kill her in the suicide mission and get over it.

Sexually transmitted diseases kill people here, on earth, without prior immuno-problems. Antibiotics don't do anything to viruses. And Mr.Rambo Quarian who survived only does so because you gave him back to the Quarians - experts on their own physiology and problems that may have access to medicine our Normandy doc doesn't.
You put a biologically unsafe instrument inside a fragile alien speicies and caused friction and then expelled a possibly toxic cocktail inside of her body - and then she has to run around and fight for her life so she's not exactly running to the doc to get an uber-detailed cleaning after the fact.
Sex causes complications, and unfortunately for Tali death replaces pregnancy.

The diseases Sheps have cant transfer to Tali because of different DNA, she just gets fever or something like that as she explained and thats why she took antibiotics. AIDS for example is no threat to Quarians.
If the diseases Shep has can't infect her - why does she need antibiotics then??? Hmmmmm

I still think this is a bit of a leap to grasp straws at for one we don't know the level both side took to prepare but if I was in love with some one id make sure I took every step I could I can understand were your coming from if shep was trying to nail a hooker, But your assuming Tali and Shep are first ever Quarian inter mix couple to try this ((Even thou at the bar we can hear a Quarian in the bar go " a little dry spell won't kill me" which is referring to sex.. I think may be booze but I‘, sure it sex at least the turian seemed to be pushing it.)) If Sex in the Quarian people was such a very Horrid and risky thing to do the Quarian people would of died out long ago. And while I under stand the Flotilla is a very sterile place I can bet shep and Tali would have taken actions to mimic said conditions.
To sum it up your over thinking it way to much from a lore stand point Shep and Tali aren’t the first Quarian interspecies couple and two I bet it has worked some were else to not to say some have failed but were there failure there also has to be success.
From a Writer PoV having tali fall over dead from ****ing her is just pure weak sauce and poor writing it as I said the equivalent of having Shepard chock on a mars bar it doesn’t case any dramatic deep feel it doesn’t case you to rage it just make you go “oh well then ill just not do it on my final ME2 run then!” and that would kind of kill the vibe of “make your own story”. The fact that Tali lived threw M1 Saren attack and Me2 Suicide mission ((If you choose to of cores)) and then have her just fall over dead at the start of me3 from an infection while sitting on bored one of the galaxy most advanced ship with the galaxy most capable doctors just isn’t good witting it a cop out. To sum it up I only see this option happening if Tali Voice actor dies some were between now and M3 going gold.
As for the pregnancy thing, I doubt Tali could get pregnant from Shepard seeing as only race that can bare children from other species are Asari and even then they will never look like the other parent as Aasri genetic sharing doesn’t work that way.
To sum it up from all view point it udder bull **** it doesn’t make sense and overall lead to poor story telling the most they could do to make it work is have tali be out for most of ME3 due to fighting off a illness only to return near the end.

Not saying he does. But swab your penis after a hard day's running around just grocery shopping and grow it on a petry dish and see the horror that unfolds. The human body is a mecca for bacteria and viruses that don't even bother us at all.
I belive there showers on the SR2 and from the looks of it my Shep didn't seem to be working out only sweat I could see would be during and while bacteria can grow not that fing fast it can't. Your grasping at straws now.

Wow, it's not utter bullsh*t, it's my opinion and a reasonable thought that might explain why it was the Paragon choice... they said there would be consequences from having LI in ME2 - sorry that the thought never occurred to you and you feel guilty and the need to lash out at me because I put an idea out there.
Sheesh - should have known better than to toss an opinion out there to the Tali fanbois.
Ya... that comment was referring if you had a ME1 LI please do not miss quote comments.
And I'm sorry you got debated under the table and best come back was insulting me.

She gets fever and other symptoms but its not like the original disease, she just reacts to it. If you speak to her she tells you

I put a thought out there, and you freaked out and said it was utter bull**** and I was grasping at straws, I really feel it is the Paragon thing to do to NOT romance her because of her health. just because other Quarians have done something doesn't make it safe - people cliff dive that doesn't make it safe, and that's why some people like it.

Tali was fine at the end of the game. so relax people. She knows her body more than anyone.
Also a valid point people are assume Tali a moron.. Tali is one of the flotilla smartest engineer as well as one who make it a point to know as much about her people and her people technology and body limit as possible I think she know when the best time be.
Further more wouldn’t the fact she out there being SHOT AT be 10x more risky then having some one touch her bare skin? wouldn't the fact enemy are shooting at her risking suit breech at every turn be far more dangerous then what shep did.
To sum it up the so called "paragon choice ((don't see how it paragon you don't get any fing points from it)), IS me2 way of you picking your LI, were as in ME1 if you killed ash or kaiden it determines if it was one of them or Liara this one you actually can back down I'll make it a point to test this on my NG+.

you are not an expert on either Quarian physiology, space germs,

I love the fact you feel the need to insult me every post to make your point more valid it like agureing with a 5 year old who think screaming "your a doo doo head" make her point even more right.
No it comes down to you put your post out there and I pointed out the flaws in it and you didn't like people sticking there finger into your cake.

Well, considering Tali can die in the suicide mission, I think it is likely that they will find a way to off her before ME3 for simplicity's sake - same with Thane who has death built already in him so even if he survives the mission I don't see him being around for 3.
By your own logic they will off Shepard as well as the rest of me2 cast for "simplicity" sake case there all Replaceable .
Really you should think your point out before shouting them out.
