You put a biologically unsafe instrument inside a fragile alien speicies and caused friction and then expelled a possibly toxic cocktail inside of her body - and then she has to run around and fight for her life so she's not exactly running to the doc to get an uber-detailed cleaning after the fact.

Sex causes complications, and unfortunately for Tali death replaces pregnancy.

lmao way to describe sex in the most disturbing way possible. especially liked the "expelled a possibly toxic cocktail inside her body" part. that made me gag a little. good work ;)

On the Citadel when you ask the guy about whether or not there is fish in the water he gives you a speech about how dangerous human DNA is to Turians and some other species which is why I called it a toxic cocktail LOL

So, is it pretty much true that if you romance Tali she is gonna die(in ME3)? In that case I'll go with Miranda. I like Tali and all, but I dont want to kill her just to get inside of her.

iirc the quarians go on the pilgrimage too so they don't get inbreed or something (this is mentioned in the game at some point, can't remember when or where though), which i find amusing how difficult it must be for them to breed with others? and how does pregnancy work for them anyway... with their suits and all!

I put a thought out there, and you freaked out and said it was utter bull**** and I was grasping at straws, I really feel it is the Paragon thing to do to NOT romance her because of her health. just because other Quarians have done something doesn't make it safe - people cliff dive that doesn't make it safe, and that's why some people like it.

The DNA of Quarians is based on Dextro Amino Acids instead of our DNA which is based on Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). This means that Earth bacteria and virusses will not have the 'normal' affect on Quarians. The Quarian will not suffer the normal symptoms of the disease but might get a fever or allergic reaction.

Currently the precise effect of STD's on Quarians is unknown, but not likely to be severe, because of the difference in DNA. Just imagine how hard it is for a human to cath the bird flu. Now imagine how it would be even harder for a species with a completely different DNA structure.

Also being a Paragon is also about loving people. Having sex with Tali fits that category. Also, since she knows and accepts the conseqeunces, why should I prevent it?

Nothing is true it her grasping at straw and mixing facts, All be it she may be right ((Thou i think the real reasons will be much different)). There just as much a chance she wrong and nothing but a happy relationship happens with tali there are many options that can happen and it not really a paragon choice to back down seeing as 1. you don't GET any paragon point for picking it and 2. A renegade options such as "Your a dirty quarian why would I ever love you" MAY kill loyalty just call me nuts on that.

I think it a simple back out option if you wanna go for Miranda or SuZu ((jack)) and will have little effect if you don’t pick it in me3.

Only time can tell who right on this topic.

As far as I remember it they go to Pilgrimage to earn their right to go to another ship (one of the reasons), this thwart inbreeding because families and bloodline are not on the same ships.

This needs to end. Tali doesn't and won't die if u romance her. She gets a bit sick like she did after her loyal quest, she said she got a suit puncture and got a bit of a fever. She said the samething after the ending if u romance her.bioware aren't that cruel to do asuch atthing

i think the only reason it is a paragon choice is because it is putting tali's health at risk. sheperd could have been thinking "wow i do not want to kill you and risk out mission!". i romanced her, but besides the point. so no she probably will not die in ME3

I don't think you have much to worry about her idea is they may do it to simply things for me3 sadly if they wanted to simply it they went down the wrong road back in Me1 by making are choices matter and coping out near the end will only case many fans to turn there back on bioware and the mass effect verse. Seeing as they even said they been playing with a idea to keep mass effect going past shepard story.

The point is they let us forge are own story I doubt there going to back down now when were nearing the end of the saga.

People IT IS NOT A PARAGON CHOICE Just case it nice doesn't mean it paragon think of it from a game developers view point it be pretty BS to have you lose a member loyalty case you backed out at the last moment case you didn't realize what you were doing ((All be it you have to be blind deaf and dumb when it came to tali)).

This was probably put it so people who wanted to keep there ME1 LI or go for a different ME2 LI had a choice and so you didn't lose there loyality they made it a nice option.

I don't know anything - I don't think I am GRASPING AT STRAWS either, but I am only speculating why and what that could mean. I also think Garrus will end up sick and dying if you romanced him because of what the Citadel groundskeeper said about human DNA being toxic if ingested to a bunch of different species.

It is only my speculations.

I was more under the impression that surface, air and mouth based bacteria were the cause of Tali getting ill as her suit came off. If you hang out in Illium for awhile you can overhear a similar conversation with a Quarian and a Turian talking about her experience with dating a human and the out come.

Ughhhh, I still dont know who to decide on. Its too hard because on the one hand Tali is like that couple-years younger(not younger than 18) girl next-door to you who always had a "thing" for you and you two are like brother and sister; while Miranda is that girl who saved your life from a bicycle accident with a car and never really had an intimite relationship because nobody really "got" her like you.

WHO TO CHOOSE?!?!

I made 2 saves before I go through the Omega-4 relay, so I'll be able to get the other LI. But the first choice is just too hard!

The diseases Sheps have cant transfer to Tali because of different DNA, she just gets fever or something like that as she explained and thats why she took antibiotics. AIDS for example is no threat to Quarians.

If the diseases Shep has can't infect her - why does she need antibiotics then??? Hmmmmm

Because she would get a fever from the foreign bacteria, rather than the actual disease. This is explained in-game.

*SPOILER*

She takes the immuno boosters and some other thing to be safe. She won't die. The disease thing is explained. Any actual disease Shepard has will not translate, but the presence of a foreign substance would cause a reaction(fever, rash, etc) which, while not too dire for a regular immune system, could be fatal for a Quarian. this is why Tali takes boosters.
