Sexually transmitted diseases kill people here, on earth, without prior immuno-problems. Antibiotics don't do anything to viruses. And Mr.Rambo Quarian who survived only does so because you gave him back to the Quarians - experts on their own physiology and problems that may have access to medicine our Normandy doc doesn't.

For the record, Quarians do not contract human diseases. What they get are actually allergic reactions to our foreign bacteria and viruses. So even if you have super aids, the quarian will just get an allergic reaction. The reaction differs based on where the disease attaches itself. And from what Tali says about the treatment, it seems you just take lots of antibiotics and hope for the best. I'm sure the normandy has some penicillin laying around somewhere.

Yeah, the developers have said that she can't catch anything from Shepard, but that doesn't mean the Air on the Normandy is entirely safe or clean for her either (Remember, there's a Salarian, a Turian, a Krogan, and an Asari running around) so it's likely that exposure to the unsterilized air of the Normandy got her slightly sick.

I just hope the Tali romance will be as developed as the Liara/Ashley/Kaiden ones are supposedly going to be in ME 3. On my main character, I plan to pursue my favorite Quarian until the end over the others.

I have a feeling they'll side line her like they did with ME1's LIs. There's even an opening in the story that allows for this side lining. Upon completion of her loyalty mission she notes that some people want her to be on the admiralty board to replace her father. Guess what happens in ME3 (I hope not).

I don't think she would abandon you right as the Reaper fleets move towards the Milky Way.  In terms of characters that almost seem like a GIVEN to be in your Squad in ME 3, Garrus is one (nowhere else to go) and Tali is another.  All the other characters would have various reasons to leave, and it looks like some ME 1 characters like Liara/Ashley/Kaiden will rejoin anyway. 

Anyway, I know they are writing the story right now for ME 3.  Don't take Tali out of my squad. DON'T!!!!!! DAMN YOU!!!!!! 

Also, she references Aerie alot from Baldurs Gate II.  I hope we get the same "super-good-cutesy' ending that you got if you stick with the winged elf!  C'mon Bioware, the dark future has to have ONE cute ending!

Of course she can leave. It even makes sense. As a new admiral she can lead the migrant fleet into battle with the reapers (remember that the mission report shows that TIM thinks that they'll need the migrant fleet in the coming battle). In this way she'll make the entire Quarian people support Shepard's mission.

That could make sense, but it all depends on how the galaxy decides to take on the Reapers.  Even with Tali at the head of a fleet, I imagine a straight naval confronation with the most powerful forces in the Universe would end badly.  I imagine Shepherd and his team will have to pull off some death defying feat to weaken or somehow sabatoge the Reapers.  Even if all the races united, the fact that a single Reaper could destroy 12 human cruisers...it doesn't bode well for the Quarians or any other race.

It may also have to do with how you treat her at the end. If you don't romance her or "betray" her (don't end the Legion conflict well) or WORSE, she is dead, then I guess the game won't have Admiral Tali or team member Tali, for that matter.

You put a biologically unsafe instrument inside a fragile alien speicies and caused friction and then expelled a possibly toxic cocktail inside of her body - and then she has to run around and fight for her life so she's not exactly running to the doc to get an uber-detailed cleaning after the fact.

Sex causes complications, and unfortunately for Tali death replaces pregnancy.

You guys don't pay attention to her voice, she didn't seem too excited about the idea. Plus, what if she was exiled? I greatly doubt she will be with the flotilla in mass effect 3 ,maybe at the end if you don't romance her, but if u do she can easly pick mr. Rambo. Quarian

The 2 characters I want back in my squad for ME3 are definitely Tali and Legion w/o a doubt.

yeah Legion is cool, but he comes near the end so you don't have much time with him. Though that depends when you go for the IFF mission.

Still, Tali is amazing. I always thought she was my favorite character in ME1, I really liked her for some reason, now I just adore her. She is definately my favorite character, I also have interest in Quarians (and also I wish to find out more about the Krogan nuclear winter) and I hope they damn well find a new homeworld or take back their old one.

Thane is my next favorite character. Then Mordin. And so on.

Agreed, Tali is still may favorite from both games., and I do wish they gave you more time with legion...

Glad they didn't changer Tali's personality. Garrus was a lot more dark, and they pretty much scrapped old Liara and built a new one.

Tali still had the same personality, just more mature.

I listen to her voice all the time. It is one of the things I love about her. While she doesn't sound excited, she is fiercely loyal to her people and the fleet. The way I understand her character she'll perform her duty when called upon. Also, if she was exiled that wouldn't change the fact that the Quarians can have strong differences of opinion and her exiled status can easily be revoked.

While, personally, I would love to see Tali leading the fleet, at the same time I want nothing more than her to be recruitable in ME3 (and, of course, further develop the romance).

Your part of cerebus now, if they can heal shepard after floating around in space, I'm sure  they could heal Tali. And I also now like Tali more than Liara, altough when I do the Tali romance I will have to replay ME1 to avoid any repurciussions of dumping Liara in ME3, and I still want to see the Liara romance as well.
