Okay, I agree he's a total jerkface, and I don't find his VA particularly attractive in sound or otherwise, sorry Mr. Sheen. But looking at the wallpaper for him and his picture in the codex, I only have one word; rawr. Maybe my FemShep can change him! >_>

The difference is that TIM will die by my gun, not his own like Saren.

Maybe he's a cyborg. But I prefer my own theory that he's a very artfully crafted construct and we'll find out he's really Udina or something hiding behind that robot. IM is just too perfectly, classically attractive to be real!
I don't think he's fifty. He's got the gray, but it might be premature. Maybe 45 or so. I chock the old man voice up to A, BioWare wanting a really famous actor for him and B, all of those smokes.
Not that fifty means much if medical advancements have increased human life expectancy by at least a third, which I believe was mentioned in the first when Shepard said 'we're lucky if we hit 150'.

I just hope there won't be a twist like 'The Illusive Man is really a Reaper", because in that case I'd die in laughter.

Im not worried about his capabilities, I'm worried about his 'hot'ness as the OP describes him, which would mainly be his only redeeming quality as a person, yet for some reason he apparently cant afford a facelift lol

I am slightly embarassed to even be saying this- but yeah. I'd hit that.
Like the fist of an angry god, in fact.
It has more to do with his character than his appearance- although yes, he certainly isn't that bad-looking for a man made of pixels. Supremely in control; enigmatic; intelligent; cultured; reasonably pleasant; antagonist; wears a suit... it's like Bioware knew exactly what my buttons were, and went, 'hey, I've got an idea: let's press 'em all!'.
...Yeah. I have odd taste. >.>
I recall reading somewhere that he's around seventy years old... which might seem like a lot, except that in the context of Mass Effect, that's roughly the equivalent of 40. As humans go, he's not quite middle-aged.

No, not really. He reminds me of the cigarette smoking man from the X-Files. Can't quite put my finger on why, though...

His concept art and illustrations are muy sexy. In game...? Not so much. At all.

The ironic thing is that I went into the game absolutely determined to hate him. With the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns, in fact.
It was a matter of principle, you see. Akuze, and all that. Also, Admiral Kahoku. Also... well, pretty much everything else Cerberus has done.
By god, I resisted. While he gradually eroded my willpower. Like salt in the rain. >.>
I lasted until maybe halfway through the game, then pretty much said, 'Ah, screw it'. >.
This ALWAYS happens with me. Seriously. It's like a running gag.
