I decided to post a small list on a non game breaking(not connected to installing or crashing) bugs/annoyances and balance issues that i was able to find. No doubt that this is going to disappear in obscurity under a pile of more serious bugs.

Technical issues:

- Trying to run down from the sides of any elevated surface (beam's, hills etc) will cause your character to be stuck in the air above ground.  Running to end of cliffs sometimes produces that bug as well.
(This can be avoided if you don't run to the sides of hills, cliffs, tables and other elevated terrains. When you need to jump down from somewhere - aim straight ahead from the beam/table end or use intended ramps).

- Saving restrictions are too severe. Sometimes there are no enemy's in sight, yet game cannot be saved because some group of NPC's is waiting for you 3 rooms ahead(this does not include saving restrictions during some broken assignments like Estevanico)

- Game is missing proper inventory screen. This cant be considering "a feature" since this impedes normal gameplay and provokes too many questions about available items.

Gameplay bugs/annoyances:

- Squad members do not always hide when under fire.

- Sometimes one or both squad members rush ahead while being fired upon instead of covering along with main character.

- Standing in the trunk of a truck during Horizon showdown prevents enemy's from shooting and advancing at you.

- Planet resource status (rich, good, moderate, poor, depleted) does not seem to correlate with an actual amount of rich deposits or the overall amount of deposits. It appears that status just scales down randomly without any logical pattern.

- Missing confirmation or ability to choose NOT to start a mission and change location after some especially long sequences.

- Missing the ability to skip some especially long sequences, including intro.

- Missing a pause or a protection against miss-clicking while skipping some long NPC text sequences and accidentally selecting next dialog option.

- Missing an ability to decline transferring back to Normandy or ability to choose to transfer to previous location (Archangel mission for example) after mission completion.

- Missing an ability to decline switching to new heavy weapon upon pick up.

- Missing an ability to give different armors to squad members. Maybe it was intended that way but having several useless promo armors hanging in your drawer while your squishy team uses equivalents of Barbie dresses for protection cant be explained logically.

- Exploring MSV Estevanico part seems either unfinished or broken. One linear solution among confusing ship textures, combined with inability to save and bugged elevation makes me wonder if its working as intended.

- It is possible to open some doors and shoot inactive enemy's while staying on the other side without activating battle scripts(during Horizon mission; while trying to save Okeer; while saving Jack etc)

- Running sufficiently far away stops certain enemy's from advancing further and/or shooting at squad members, so you can easily take them out from afar.

Balance issues:

- M-920 Cain completely useless. Playing on insanity setting i wasn't even able to completely charge it up once. Lowering amount of ammo required to charge it might actually help.

- Collectors beam rifle is overpowered compared to every other heavy weapon i've encountered so far.

- Reward for "Eclipse depot" assignment that requires you to save 20 crates from destruction is just too small. Not only its nearly impossible to do on higher difficulty settings, but mere 7500 credits do not cover the time wasted nor the effort.

Also its a bit confusing that game is missing graphic texture and AA settings, pretty sure that mass effect 1 had them in addition to AF/blur/grain settings.

Edit:
Decided to add some other issues i forgot about + suggested and confirmed below.

Good list, a lot of those *are* pretty annoying.

I would also like to to add the inability to choose to remain at a location after some missions. You get automatically booted back to the Normandy even if there are more things to do at a given location which means docking again and going through the whole process of selecting people and load-outs.

Yea had a lot of those problems myself, the clipping during running on un-even surfaces combined with the Eclipse Depot mission just caused me to alt f4, kinda hard to take cover when your hanging 20mtrs in the air above the mech thats killing you.

Also getting the Head twist issue that was around for Dragon Age Origins, every so often when shepard is running down staircases his eye catches something and as he runs away from it his head is at a more than odd angle...

This really is sub-par for what i thought was the standard for bioware productions... DA:O was very good in comparison... wtf has gone wrong?

Imo I also noticed a small bug concerning a carryover from ME1 saves:

[small Spoilers]

Concerning Konrad Verner -When I met him on Ilios he acts as if I got all Renegade on him back in ME1 (you put a gun in my face), when I in fact used only Paragon options.

[End Spoiler]

I hope that went as a sarcasm><

All the bugs are pretty much the same as they always make in their games. Dragon Age, Star Wars KOTOR 1&2.. nothing new really. Actually... anyone who played other BioWare games knows all of their usual bugs so he knows to save a lot, to be cautious and avoid doing certain things (like trying to climb obstacles). Its almost a tradition in my opinion and i don't say it in a sarcastic way or as a criticism of BioWare but as an amusing fact.

SO agree on how the saving restrictions are too severe. The saving restrictions were the most frustrating feature for me in the original, and now they serve to aggravate the problems I'm having with the game crashing during combat.

Should be pinned somewhere in the future.. when the bazzilion of the real-pain-in-the-ass game issues has been dealt with.
