Hi all

I have tried auto-run, running from disk 1 setup icon, and all i get after disc one installs (85%) is asking for disc 2 , however no matter what i try it wont recognise disk 2. I have explored disc 2 and it seems fine and readable and when trying to run ME2 says place disk 1 in the drive.

I am running on vista 32 with 2 gigs ram and dual core 2.2 mhz processors and free disk space of 80+ gigs.Nvidia 8800 GTS. direct x 9c.

anyone else have this problem , and preferably a solution ?

thank you.

Same, Same ,Same problem I have. I had to go and exchange the Collectors edition boxed set for the PC 3 times all ready and still nothing, every version i bring home the second disk just wont install it reads a little then just sits there in the DVD drive .And I payed 69.99 CA for this, can you believe it.

FYI i'm not installing the collectors edition so a dodgy disk run seems unlikely ???

3 times Tall light ! ouch , i feel your pain. I havnt even got that option as i got mine from amazon and i'm v v reluctant to post it back without exploring other options.

Have same issue. Disc 2 does detects on installation but after a few short moments error message saying missing data. I have collectors edition btw;

This is popping up on too many forums to be a minor issue.

Good Luck with your copy , but my new chant is RECALL RECALL I just don't get Bioware for this one, it sounds like way to many problems with this game I remember in one interview they couldn't believe they were ready to actually launch this game on its designated release date .Release date for what a sinking ship i say .Sorry for my frustration with this whole scenario.

Guys, I posted a few suggestions in This Thread. See if any of that works for you.

I had the same trouble and agree that it's suspect that it's such a wide-ranging problem. I suspect it's something to do with either the disc manufacturing or the copy protection, but I'm only speculating. Anyway, try some of the suggestions in the other thread.
