[I bought Mass Effect 2 on Steam and installed DLC for Zaeed, Normandy SR1, and Inferno Armor]

Every time I sprint while anywhere near enemies, all the voices become really deep until I stop.
I've asked a friend and he says it doesn't happen at all in his game.

My computer easily meets the required specs and I keep all drivers/DirectX updated.
I don't have a dedicated sound card and my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L.

Game Config Utility System Summary:

MassEffect2.exe is v1.00
nVidia Drivers are v196.34

Also, I have my keys rebound so that the shift key and spacebar are switched.

Ya, i've been having the same problem on my machine. It's not that big of a problem, but it's very disconcerting to hear Miranda's deep voice.

Are you playing as a soldier class, by any chance?

I also had that, but ONLY when I was playing as a soldier. I think it has something to do with time dialation when you're sprinting, even if you haven't used Adrenaline Rush.

I am a soldier but there isn't any time dilation that I've noticed when I sprint, except the sound.
My friend was a vanguard, by the way.

Happens to me too- I find it disconcerting to hear the female voices all of a sudden turn all manly.
