Does this save screenshots in the screenshots folder under Bioware, a folder in my documents? Or are you talking about using Print screen and copy past it into Paint or something?

Print doesn't save them in the designated folder.
I'd, too, like to know if theres a working hotkey for this, as the manual print+paint way is somewhat lacking...especially in video sequences and the like, where you might want to take more than one shot, but can't pause.
I also don't want to use third party programs like fraps..
There is a folder for this, so there oughta be a key?

Sounds good. Will your modified ini work standalone, or do we still need to use this scriptfile?

Standalone. Just drop the file in \\Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked
Here's the link. http://uploading.com.../Coalesced.ini/
You can find the screenshots in \\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\BIOGame\\Screenshots

It's working. Awesome. Thanks a lot
Doesn't seem to work in Cutscenes though....why do Screenshots in ME always have to be such a pain<_<

Can you tell us where to modify the ini file, please? Respectfully, I don't know what else you've done to that file and I need to keep the changes I've already made to mine...

Problem with the game itself.
You'd be better off using Fraps (http://www.fraps.com/)
