Need something cleared up, not sure if its due to small text, missed quest or what.
So in ME1 we see that Sovereign(may have that wrong) can use his influence to completely control a being, but he was killed at the end so why is he back? You see him a lot in this one as he assumes control of characters and he knows shepard by name . Is he the same one ME1 of as we have only only seen two the old very broke one and Sovereign. Unless there the same as the geth and are collective as well. So is it the same one or a collective or what?
Little confused about something...(ME1/ME2 spoilers)

Sovereign is NOT back. There is more than one Reaper in this universe. Sovereign was just one of many Reapers. Your last statements are correct. Once you beat the game you will get a good idea of how many there are and the fact that ME3 will contain even more than we have bargained for.

Have you even payed attention when playing the game? They're called the Collectors, first of all. Secondly... what are you talking about, Geth=/=Collectors. The reaper who controls the collectors is called Harbinger, hence why every single collector who is possessed by him is then renamed Harbinger. You see him get launched out of the Collector facility at the end of the game then Shepard says, "Harbinger is still coming, we need to be ready." Also, Sovereign could only control Saren because he was made up of reaper tech at that point, combine that with several years(since soon after Anderson was denied as a Spectre, since that's when Saren found Sovereign) of indoctrination, as opposed to the few months/weeks the people on Virmire/Benezia/Shi'ala were under and they went insane and you've got a pretty powerful case of the being bat**** insane.
