All companions can potentially make one uncomfortable, except for the dog, and Alistair.

Morrigan = just how many templars have she and Flemeth killed?

Leliana = Bards are glorified spies and assassins in Orlais

Sten = Massacred a whole family because he panicked over a lost sword

Zevran = Hired to kill the left-over GWs, member of the Crows, assassins and a political powerhouse.

Wynne = A spirit? What kind of spirit? Are you sure it's not potentially dangerous, Wynne?

Oghren = A drunken berserker who killed a lordling in an honor match? Really? Scandalous.

Shale = An anmesiac golem who killed her master. Although I, personally can't blame her for that.

Loghain = No explanation needed

I never tried to refuse Leliana, I'll try that next time. As for Wynne and Oghren I can't recall Alistair saying anything about them when they joined. However, talking to Alistair in camp he seems not to like Oghren because of his drinking habits :P

As for Morrigan not wanting people to join, I barely had her in the party while recruiting party members.

that and whenever you try to do anything 'friendly', even if it serves a purpose, she complains.

funny how nobody makes a "morrigan is a whiner" thread like the alistair ones Posted Image

I like Alistair and always act buddy-buddy with him, even when I promted with the choice to harden him. I think more people just expect Morrigan to hate any good deed and when it comes up it doesn't phase them.

Plus, the concept that Morrigan disapproves of EVERYTHING is common enough both here and around the 'net in general (look at Nerf Now...)

Thing is, Morrigan is also a little random. She claims to be all about power and pragmatism, but she'll object to good deeds even when they happen to be the most pragmatic course of action. Meanwhile, there are times when I've felt sure she would disapprove (helping Brother Burkel form an Orzammar chantry) and while she complained, she didn't disapprove.

There's also that demon/bloodmage fetish she seems to have. Helping normal people is apparently bad even when you get something out of it, but if it's a demon, she seems to expect you to help it even if it doesn't offer something in return.
