This is probably a pretty simple problem but I am unable to press configure or play on the launcher menu. Any ideas? I'd like to import my ME1 save.

try running the launcher as an admin and if that doesn't work go into the binaries file inside the mass effect 2 file in your program file.

Same problem. Can run Configuration from Binaries bypassing Launcher ok, but can't Play by running Launcher from Mass Effect 2 folder in Program Files..

Look for the MassEffect2.exe in the Binaries fold and try running that.
