Take him to locations, and just keep having him search.

Game updated with my current armor I guess and no the dog doesn't seem 2 do much but ill have 2 try what adam is saying I was wondering about the trees he was interested in

I had dog go out and find something interesting. He brings me back silk pantaloons. One of the dialog choices was "You expect me to wear those?" Dog rolled over and panted in approval. I lol'd then gave a quick glance at Morrigan to check her reaction...
