Here's what Victor wrote:

Here's the news that PS3 fans have been waiting for!

Return to Ostagar for the PlayStation 3 has passed certification and will be released on March 11, 2010.

We
will also be releasing an update for the PlayStation 3 version of
Dragon Age a week ahead of time on March 4, 2010. We'll release the
contents of this update once we have the final list of changes.

We
would also like to update you on the release date for Awakening. Dragon
Age: Awakening will be released to retail in North America for PC, Xbox
360 and PlayStation 3 on March 16, as scheduled (with Europe/Other
regions later that week as normal with retail releases). The
PlayStation 3 DLC version of Awakening will be released on March 18.

We
truly appreciate our PlayStation 3 fans' patience while they were
awaiting this release. Thanks for playing Dragon Age: Origins, and
we're looking forward to seeing you in Ostagar and Awakening!

As I suspected they will be backing off their no DLC in Awakenings stance in a future patch. I still wonder what our patch has in store for us. Did they detail any fixes included with the PS3? I asked in the main thread but we may only ever be passively paid attention to.

I'm really glad we're finally getting a patch. Hopefully it will resolve many of the problems. But I'm no longer interested in RtO DLC and DA: Awakening Expansion pack, though. With FFXIII, Heavy Rain and GOW III on the horizon, I've no time for a delayed DLC and an expansion pack that won't carry over items from previous DLCs. (At least until I've finished those games.)

It's taken them 'this' long to get us RtO? This is a joke, a clear statement from Bioware that they can't seem to hire people that can code properly for the PS3.. hell for any platform from what I've been reading with all the bugs and so forth. I'd rather Bioware take a moment and FIX it's games for launch then give us these broken games and make us wait for a patch sometime down the road. I sold my copy of Dragon Age. I can not justify spending my hard earned money on half assed games any longer. Sorry Bioware but it was fun while it lasted. I've moved on.

I will not be buying RTO. I watched it on youtube and its not even that great in my opinion. The items might of been useful if RTO was released a while back but now with it coming so close to Awakening there's no point in buying it just for the gear. MAYBE I will buy it later on when I get bored.

Bioware should really start repairing the damage they caused with the very delayed RTO DLC and almost nonexistent PS3 customer support because with all these brouhaha I somehow felt that I was part of the casteless dwarves of Orzammar. Or maybe Bioware is just exercising the caste system and PS3 users are at the bottom. Not good, Bioware.

The items in RtO do work & the skills you pick up in WK transfer across as well

I for one was one of those that were going to get RTO the on the day it was down loadable. However with this very, very long delay it's not lost it's luster for me. I no longer care, and I will not be getting it especially with awakenings right around the corner.

Now I don't think I would be surprised to see such a silly delay for Awakenings. I might not even be getting Awakenings anyway, I'm so on the fence now. I just have a sour taste in my mouth right now so to speak.

It's a shame for me. It's a Great, great game and I love it!!!! However being treated like the bad step-child has ruined my experience with what could have been amazing. Why bioware! You were one of my most trusted and favorite companies.
