I'm mostly just annoyed by the constant delays. I even putted up finishing the game with a couple of my chars because I thought it was gonna be released soon.

bioware has the latest news about awakening.... how about RTO for ps3? did they forget millions of ps3 user's are still waiting for their update or their just trying to ignore us... it almost a end of the week, how many WEEK'S they intend us to wait or they intend us to wait for nothing...

warden's keep, shale and rto are the same... so whats the problem in rto, that bioware having problem's in releasing it for ps3. but when they release warden's keep and shale for the 3 platforms, ps3,xbox & PC at same time

I cannot see this situation as a bigotry against specific platform - that anyone would want to keep ps3 players out. I don't believe this was actually malicious act, but just one example of situation in which two companies are involved and their schedules don't match. I would assume that Sony does not only have RTO on their table waiting to be tested, but many others as well. And if this is the case Bioware cannot do a thing about it. I do not think Bioware would have any chances to get rto past the queue. PS3 is also losing in this deal as many may have already swapped their ps3 for something else. Let me tell you, if i did have my xbox with me now, i would not even touch my ps3 anymore - if I blame someone, it is Sony, as in I do not truly believe that Bioware would achieve anything by lying about their role, they undoutably want to spread their games as widely as possible. For sony rto may be more like a drop in the ocean however. 

But also as I stated above, in terms of fairness I think the other two platforms should have waited as well. It would have spared Bioware from "racism"- doubts that are really inevitable if only one platform stays on the shore when the rest are sailing and would have prevented possible spoiling of ...enchantmen.. no.... entertainment..

Its a pain, but what can we do really - meditate.. hmm.. maybe not. too static and i cant hold on to one thought at the time - or to empty mind: I'm a chaotic multitasker

I think the problem are those bugs that were in the original content causing a crash with the new content.  I think when the 360/PC title updates were released they fixed some of those pesky bugs also.  So the delay might have something to do with them fixing a lot of problems with the first game and DLC.  I would rather wait a little longer than have my game crash or all these crappy bugs.

I think the real issue that most of us are having is NO UPDATE.  I mean atleast tell us what's going on.  There are moderators, admins and BioWare employees that monitor the site.  However, nobody is updating us with no information that's the annoying part.

I'm so glad I joined this group now I get to know sort of when to expect RtO. I hope it comes out soon, need new story, waiting for awakening to come out is taking to long.

As I have mentioned in some other threads, Return to Ostagar is currently in the certification process at Sony. However, this process takes longer than PC or Xbox 360, and at this time, we don't have an estimate on how long it will take. We're hoping to get an update next week that will let us know more, at least about a general timeframe (as always, no promises on that though).

the smart/ethical thing would have been to release RtO on all platforms at the same time, regardless of how long the certification process takes.



however, i will remain patient and hope that it's released sometime before the end of this month.

Samething would go for the patch updates to fix some of the bugs that we have been finding?

As I'm sure you are well aware the mistaken release of RTO, and the title update specifically, caused significant problems for Xbox users. Holding back the fixed patch would have been just wrong. I for one do not think any platform should wait for the others. Once it's ready, release it.

Whenever RTO is released I will buy it. We have the money sitting in our PS3 account. I also have awakening on pre-order. This was the only game I wanted for christmas (aside from one other) and I am happy to have it and if it takes longer for the DLC to come out then so be it. I have read these posts I dont know how many times people crying about how others DLC comes out way in advance, well I think that all 3 should have been released at the same time but since that is not the case there are 2 things you can do, you can either grit your teeth and bare with bioware or you can quit.

Yes....swooping is bad. I talked to CS (Customer support ) and I got a Feb 11th date better than the 23rd right?

EDIT: I dont know for sure if thats right though. The lady had an accent I couldn't understand (Yes bash on the American :-P)

Ahh, I'm over RTO now. Once I stopped playing DA:O I finally let go. When I saw that it came out for XBOX 360 again, I gave in and read the walkthrough on Dragon Age Wiki and saw it's not that big of a deal since I've already played through the game 4 times. When Awakening comes out, the Tank Gear from RTO will be useless anyway and seeing Cailan hung on a cross isn't really that big of a deal to me. I tried to put off my fourth playthrough as long as possible, but finally gave in and finished. Oh well, I just hope Awakening is good. I will probably hit God of War 3 first but after that's over, I'll buy Awakening. Good luck guys.
