Yeah and anyway it wouldnt be serious to have first awakening on ps3 then rto dlc, like laughing on us, and i dont really think they would do so with all the time we´ve already been waiting.

i loved bioware, KotOR is my favorite rpg of all time, i love mass effect 1 and 2. when DA:O was announced for ps3 i was verry happy (i perfer the ps3 over the 360... by a lot), i pre-ordered the game, loved it (even got platinum), but i'll tell you, ever since RtO was first announced, i knew it would be bad. even before the first delay, the ps3 version never had a concrete date. the way bioware handled the situation was/is irresponsible. now ps3 owners get shafted, we want answers and bioware is nowhere to be heard from. plus the excuse of sony's long cert process, well, i'm not buying it. its clear that bioware doesn't like working on the ps3, which makes me wonder if it was EA that wanted the game multiplatform and not bioware. they even released a patch and dlc before the pc version. bioware's treatment to ps3 owners has been poor and unprofessional.

The PS3 version of Dragon Age: Origins has been one of the top-selling games, from what I understand. With that in mind, it means Bioware and EA are earning a net profit from the venture and, therefore, are unlikely to be in any mood to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

IOW, I still believe the patch and RtO are coming, and am looking forward to the PS3 version of the expansion in mid- to late March.

Well, the expansion is being released on all platforms on 3/16/2010. So, we'll all be playing the same day. Yay!

I just put ten bucks down at the local game stop for awakening. I'm going with the disk cause of this RoT bs

 I was going with the disc for the expanion myself even if RtO would have come out perfect the first time around.  Just incase new material in a manual, etc. and also like CD's and before them Albums. Just soething special of having a case to look at with the artwork and everything else.

xD well my other reason for going disk, is cause no where in town can I get a $10 PSN card.

While at game stop I can toss my change at it until its paid off.

I'm going with the download. If it works like expansions for the PC, you need the expansion disc to play it. I have two PS3s so downloading it on both will relieve me and my son jockeying for who gets to play it first.

 Yes you will have to run the Awakenings disc and import  your character in.    yes for you the right solution, for me, it is keeping my PS3 under lock and key and away from all others,

this is the first time I have read thru all of this. Just a bit of history from an 'old lady'. Give Bioware a bit of slack. SONY has had issues with releasing products and what-not for decades. It not just a matter of testing with sony, but it must be approved by their legal department as well as to meeting all of the contractual agreements as well. MS has no need to spend money for a delay- I am sure they knew that if anyone would be delayed it would be sony. Just as bioware cant just write a patch to fix things, or release info on delays---as I am sure that bioware still wishes to do business with sony, Just look at what happened with BETA-VISON.

The fellows at Bioware could give us a better heads up, they could always ask Sony how long time it will take for them to check it...
