My Xbox 360 completely freezes periodically when the game is accessing data. This can happen when I try to load certain saves (most of them, actually), or during a cut sceen. It happens consistantly at specific places. I find if I shut down the console over and over, I can eventually get the game going again. This happens when I am running the game from the HD and when I am running it from the DVD.
I don't have problems with any other games. But I have exchanged my DVD for another and have the same problems. I've cleard my cache. I've deleted the game entirely and started completely over. I'm not getting any red rings. I am getting periodic 1-second sound dropouts.
I'm assuming that this is a problem with my console somehow, just because I don't see anyone else reporting this issue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have not had any crashes (unlike Fallout 3 on my 360, which had several freezes necessitating hard reboots) playing DA on my 360 yet. How much space is available on your hard drive and have you installed the game to your hard drive? I have about 20 GB left (on a 120 GB drive) and I've installed the game in full to my drive and I'm playing it from there.

Installing it to my HD doesn't help. I'm thinking that bad data is being written to my save game files or something.

Anyone know anything about this? If no other games are making my 360 freeze, could it still be a problem with my Xbox?

Here is an update on my problem after some testing.
My game freezes at specific times. It happens during most save game loads and at specific moments in the game where a new area is being loaded. I have tried
Clearing the cache - Does not help
Playing from a different profile - Does not help
Exchanging the disc for a new one - Does not help
Deleting all game information and starting over -Does not help
Removing the hard drive - This works, but can't really play the game without saving.
Playing without any DLC - Does not help
Here is a specific game moment when the game freezes:
EARLY SPOILER FOLLOWS
In the City elf story, after the wedding, as the main character is about to go through the gate to enter the building when the women are being held, the console freezes as the area is being loaded (or perhaps the game is being autosaved).

Was the issue solved? I have been having similar problems on the 360 crashing/freezing constantly. This happened to me in ME2 & Fallout 3 as well but to no other games. Far and away it happens the most in DA:OA though.
