GREAT job Bioware. Holy crap seriously I was having a blast the whole time through. Recruitment quests were excellent, loyalty quests were perfect. Everything was fun, just FUN (well...except for the planet scanning lol).
Just starting a second playthrough now.
I didn't do all the sidequests, but took me 37 hours to beat. WOOT!
Just beat the game, WOW

I think just about all of us are lol. I really hope Bioware releases some substantial storyline DLC in between to keep us held over till ME3.

It was a good game. My impressions thread is in my signature, the "5 things ME3 needs" thing, check it out if you want.

Indeed, it is obvious how ME3 will end and hopefully they'll bridge the story.

The Mass Effect games slaps Halo around like Jason on extacy. ME2 is simply brilliant. EPIC!!!
I'm in awe.

I know right? By the time I finished the final run, my limbs were all wobbly with adrenaline. I had to take a few moments to mill around and come down off the rush. The whole thing was a blur of firefights, cinematics, and decisions. I second guessed every choice.
There were two deaths during my first go at the suicide mission. Both fatalities left me sitting there on the sofa lookin' slack-jawed. "Woah. Holy crap."
At any rate: Very well done, BioWare. I'm only a few hours away from starting my second play through. My weekend is booked.

What game DOESN"T slap Halo around? Seriously, gotta be one of the most overrated series in gaming history.
But anyway . . .
I loved it. I know you'll see me complaining about certain things on these forums, but I honestly did love it as a whole. So much better than the first one (not that the first one was bad, but compared to this, it no longer feels as epic), and the story really felt much more mature and high-risk this time around. And all the characters (except Zaeed) were very well-written and evolved over the course of the journey very realistically. And it also seemed to have mauch more variety of endings to have based on the player's decision, which of course rocks. I'll re-playing this game (plus whatever DLC they come up with) for years without tiring of it, and that is a massive feat for BioWare, as far as I am concerned, and should be applauded.

Bioware is already working on ME 3 and its rumoured we will see something of it as early as E3 THIS year. I know they wanted to get it out faster than the previous games, so maybe sooner than we think? Please? Hello?

^ Just as long as they don't rush it, I'm fine with this. But this game took three years to make, and was still as glitchy as hell. I don't want ME 3 to full-out crash on me. lol

I just beat it. It was awesome. It was improved from Mass Effect 1 in just about every way. I lost 2 people on the final mission. 1 was the bounty hunter(didn't care about him so i shrugged it off). But when Thane died that got my attention(this game has a habit of making me second guess myself alot). I let it go though because he was going to die in a year anyways but still i was sad to see him go. I captured the base instead of blowing it up(everything I've done I've done to give the galaxy the best chance at survival) afterwards everyone started to second guess me on that(the more we know about their tech the better). DO THEY DO THE SAME EVEN IF YOU BLOW IT UP?

Awesome game, but to make it really shine, MORE dialogues are needed, makes interaction feels more real.

I finished the game late at night (after 2am) and actually couldn't get to sleep afterward; I was so hyped up from the epic close..
So I decided that it would be a good time to start my second playthrough. I usually play a female Shepard; I rolled a male this time, but I can't stand the voice actor >.>
Think I'm gonna have to start again.. Jennifer Hale has my heart :/

Man, I clocked in at 24hrs.
I was nerve wrecked the entire time i was on the suicide mission, because I didn't know who I'd loose.
It was sad when my first squad member died.. (Garrus)
