I think the DL was only 48mb. Shales was like 400+? For them to make a full mission all the dialog that he says throughout the game for 48 mbs I have to say that is a great job on Bioware.

I'm almost positive the download for Zaeed was 400+ mb too.

I am Downloading it now...T'is 498.5 MB..I hope to god he is not one of those annoying characters that I end up feeding to some giant snake for some better Armour ^.^

Additional:- I think it was only free for the collectors edition btw; I'm pretty sure everyone else had to shell out 1200 points for it.

First off let me say, I really do enjoy Zaeed. Hes got some great lines, every once and awhile. He seems like a pretty interesting character.

Seems, however, is the key word. He is the only character on your ship that doesn't have a dialogue tree. Theres no character development. He just is as he is!

When i heard they were releasing him, I was hoping he would be handled like Shale from Dragon Age: Origins. Shale was an extremely interesting characters with her own quirks. She had a personal side mission, and is tied directly into one of the main missions if shes in your party when you do it! They handled her DLC extremely well.

What does Zaeed do? he gets a few one liners, and shoots a Batarian in the leg. The fact that you get his Loyalty Mission right off the bat seems like a lack of effort. Overall a waste of a potentially good character.

Bioware, I love your games, and most of the extra content you release but, please, I'm beging you, don't let us down on future DLC characters like you did with Zaeed!

I would pay almost anything for the next DLC charact(rumored to be Kasumi) to be fully dialogued.(And twice that for her to be a female LI but that's an entirely different story.)

Yeah, he was kind of lower-quality than the rest. He doesn't get normal dialogue on board. His mission felt like an N7 drop, even despite some exciting moments (Paragon punch!). I wonder why'd they have to release him like this.

I wish he had more dialogue too. Hurray for taller, meaner, scarred Harrowmont!

For 'free' Day one DLC, he's fine, and I often bring him on N7 merc missions lol

However, if I had to spend money on him, no way. For the next (last?) DLC character, I'm gonna wait and see videos of her(?) to see if its worth it.

I wouldn't mind purchasing a future 2 gig DLC focusing on Zaaeed, with some added places to go, people to meet etc.

Yeah I don't how much I'd spend, but I enjoyed his character.  It come across that he was created under certain constraints.  I think they did a pretty admirable job with his character and working withing those constraints.

Well, now you know the reason why Zaeed is free and quick.

He really can't even be included with the rest of the cast. His character is terrible, because there really just isn't one there. He seems more of a quick cliche than someone well developed and it's because he doesn't develop. You get nothing with him beyond the loyalty quest and it makes him just another badass, and ME2 has enough badasses and all the others in your squad actually have personality.

Er - have the people complaining considered that Zaeed is exactly what he's supposed to be? This is a guy who joins you because he's hired to do so. Every other squad member joins as a favor or because the mission is vital or they owe you or whatever - Zaeed is just a hired gun.

That's my point. Canderous was certainly more compelling than this guy.
