You can do Legion's loyalty quest before the crew gets abducted.



After the IFF mission, but before using the galactic map, go down to the AI compartment and recruit Legion. Then talk to him(/her/it/they) a couple times to unlock the loyalty quest.

1st Section:

Pipe Infiltration: Tali

Second Squad: Garrus



2nd Section:

Biotic Shield: Samara

Second Squad: Garrus

Crew Escort: Jacob



3rd Section:

Everyone holds the line, Thane and Tali accompany me.

I did, but it kept saying "We are compiling a consesus, come back later."

As far as Zaeed's loyalty goes, you don't really need it. I did the suicide mission, without completing his loyalty mission and he pulled it off. Didn't use him for anything in that mission though (for obvious reasons).

so in conclusion deaths are just random?

Mordin was the only one to die, i never even used him in any of the final missions.
I had (at least i thought) everyone loyal. is there any reason a character would turn neutral again by something you did? And even if they weren't loyal, would they just randomly die at the end?

I had Legion in the tunnel
Miranda and Jacob as my fire squad leaders
Samara as my biotic barrier
and Zaeed as my escort

i had nearly every weapon upgrade possible considering i played every side mission (searched EVERY planet for them) all ship upgrades (aside from med bay) started the suicide mission at level 29 (finished the game at level 30), and even exhausted every conversation Mordin had avaialbe, he said multiple times how much he's happy to be there.

no clue, anyone got any idea why it happend?

How the heck did you accomplish that many level ups on your first play thru?? I did EVERY main mission, secondary assignment, & loyalty mission & finished the game at only level 27. Don't know if it matters but my shepard is a vanguard with full paragon & about 50% or so renegade skills.

Jack died in my mission. I had lost her loyalty in siding with Miranda. I did not have her do anything in the final mission, she just died. Zaeede was not loyal either, i didnt have him do anthing but he did not die.
