Even before I went to the Collector ship I  encountered a Prothian console (Sorry, I  forget what planet it was on, I'll go into my journal and try to find it later) which somewhat extended the Prothian distress signal that was burned into Shepards mind in ME1 and for a instant it clearly showed a Collector thus heavily suggesting that the Collectors are Prothians even before you go to the Collector ship.

Anyone else found this Prothian/Collector artifact yet?  Are there more to find?

I've done every planet side quest... or so I think. I looked up a list on the internet and there's only one, but I don't know if that's ALL of them, some guy posted them, maybe he missed something...

you mean the one on the bluesun's hidden outpost.

On notes that imply the collectors are prothean, a conversation I had with Mordin before doing the collector ship mission has him saying that Collector technology is painful for collectors to use, and that none of their stuff is designed in any way for comfort. He speculates that this is because they are slaves.

It was on a N7 mission, nothing special really.. same vision as was in ME1 but only with a Collector doing the 'omg i dying' pose.



It's the one where the blue suns are overseeing an illegal excavation.

I forgot the planet but it was really cool. There is also a husk generator in one of the N7 missions.

Just a side mission like others said, nothing that will make or break the game if you don't do it. I just found it interesting to find out what the Collectors are before you check out their ship and was wondering if there were others like it.

Wait was it the one where it was populated with husks and you had to destroy the reaper artifact? It is isn't it?
Where do you get the vision though?!

No, there were no husks but Blue Suns mercenaries.

I  don't recall any husks.  Just a bunch of Blue Suns mercs.  Must be a different mission you're referring to.

The vision of from the Prothian beacon on Eden Prime in ME1, it just clearly shows a Collector/Prothian this time around and I happened to do this before the big reveal on the Collector ship is all.  I  thought it interesting and was wondering if there were more like it.
