I  haven't beaten the game yet so I don't know if they make their presence known any more but on Illium I  encountered a Asari with a message from the Rachni Queen and it seems to imply she's grateful to you still and I hope that's beneficial in ME3 if it has no other effect in ME2.

Thoughts?

Rachni, Krogan resurgence...it is going to be a hell of a final fight.

I just hope the queen doesn't come back to bite me...quite literally.

So far it looks like the queen is on your side, unless of course the **** is lying =/

Wrex and Grunt leading a charge!

I  almost feel sorry for the Reapers.... almost.

They will be extremely useful in the coming war. With the Geth, Rachni, Krogran, Quarians, and Citadel/Alliance on your side depending on your choices.

And if you're pure renegade the Collector base will reveal startling new technologies I bet.

The story goes farther than that.

I talked to the "envoy" at length. Turns out the whole reason for the Rachni rebellion — if you believe the queen and her envoy — was because the Rachni were being used by the Reapers. The queen's telling Shepard that she's not only grateful to him, but that the Rachni have a score to settle. She explicitly promises him unstinting Rachni support in the coming war.

Exactly, which is why saving them was the more rational choice.

I'd love to see our end-trilogy battle fleet of every sentient race out there. I hope we can convince the elcor to join... great for carrying heavy weapons.

I actually don't feel the collector base decision was all that renegade.  I had my Paragon character choose it and I imagine it won't tie you into the "bad guy" ending in ME 3, more like it just may make for an interesting confrontation or two.

Everyone on the Normandy after the epilogue seem to think handing the base over to Cerberus seems to be a bad idea, heck, even TIM's evil smile seems to say a lot about what he plans to do with it.

Hopefully it won't bite us in the ass.

Seems like I have the loyalty of almost everyone. My personal army of Rachni, the loyalty of the Krogan, and likely the allied Geth as well. Neat.

So, in ME3 we'd have armies of Krogan, Rachni, Geth, Cerberus Reaper-lites, Alliance races... all under Shepard's command to fight the Reapers.

ME3 is going to look like Starcraft >.>
