Is it possible to romance Samara?

I am going down my bang checklist and here is what I found:

-Tali = CHECK
-Miranda = CHECK
-SuZe = TBA
-Samara = POSSIBLE?
-Morinth = I know it possible but don't want to try... lol
-Kelly = Had some private time... I musta been good because she is now on fish feeding patrol, but apparently didn't pull the trigger when the collectors attacked... so no go on my dance lesson... which looks pretty fun

I must be into blue or helmets?

SuZe can be romanced. From what I understand Samara cannot. You can hit on her, but she basically tells you she's too old for you and is passed that point in her life but appreciates the compliment.

Yea I have seen jack and morinth romance.



Would have been cool, if you had a ton of paragon to score with Samara, or if you had a ton of renengade you could pull off the Morinth stint and survive.

If you keep talking to Samara after her loyalty quest, you'll eventually get to the point where you can insist on wanting her, then Shep and Samara will *nearly* kiss, face close up to each other, then she says, "another time, in another life" or something close. Can't remember direct quote. She then walks out of the room into the sleeping quarters to the left of the door. That'll be the last talking event with her.



Hope she returns as a LI in ME3.

During the most recent playthrough I have not gotten the "almost kiss" dialog.

I'm sporting a full paragon bar and a half full renegade bar and I chatted her up as usual ... yet no "almost kiss" dialog.

Is her dialog tree alignment sensitive or is this a glitch that will hopefully not come up again....I really like that scene and I would rather not embarrass myself by being a crass boor with a classy dame like Samara.

I have tried on Full Paragon and Full Renegade. Only thing you get from her is "Like to be friends" after this is over or She will have to Fight/Kill you if you ever cross paths after departing ways. Of course this depends on your game play. I do not know what responce she gives for a grey half Par/Ren point settings.

This is so wrong on so many levels. Dude shes a squid and shes old. . Its like romancing a hanar. Its just wrong leave the monk lady alone.

Samara's non-romance romance is the best written romance option in the game. IMO

Hate to break it to you, mate, but she was shaking her arse in bars while humans still weren't sure if the Earth was round or flat.

Seriously though, my guess is 600-800 years old.  She says she has "centuries" to contemplate her daughters death, more time than Shep would have had to live... You know, if he wasn't a zombie.

Samara is, near as I can tell, around 800-900. The wiki claims she's 1000, but I'm not buying it. In any case, the round earth thing was still being debated in the 15th and 16th Centuries, which would have been about seven hundred years prior to Mass Effect 1 and 2.

In Aristotle's writing he refers to the earth as being round as "common knowledge among the learned", that was very close to 2500 years ago. The Persians, Chinese, Romans and Greeks, all accepted the earth as round at that time or earlier, much much much earlier for the Chinese. To say it was in "debate" then, well it still is, there is still a flat earth society and religious cults the reject a universe that doesn't revolve around the earth. For all intents and purposes 2500 years ago human beings knew the earth was round. Hell in 200BC Eratosthenes had a somewhat accurate (though by no means perfect) guess at the diameter of the earth

And 100 years with a hard-bodied granny wouldn't be so bad if she was rich. But she's not, so she's just an old blue woman with no scratch to freeload.
