Is it just me, or was the whole character of Tali, and Shepards interactions with her, done perfectly? Especially on Tali's loyalty mission, I got all sad when she found her father =( and during the trial I was like, Ace Attorney, Commander Shepard! And as for the romance and if it can work, yes think about it, you are now a part of Cerebus, who saved Shepard from deep space and somehow brought him back, I think that they are quite capable of healing Tali if she gets sick.

Agreed, I love her character, not to mention her recruitment and loyalty missions were awesome!

The only "true" loyal character out there. =)

I think she is the most emotional and engaging characters in the squad IMO as well. The interaction between Shepard and Tali seems so genuine and real and even if my Femshep can't romance her then I'll at least take the relationship and friendship to its highest potential.

Garrus comes in a close second. Talking him out of assassinating the traitor in his old squad from Omega was very intense IMO.

While that is pretty solid logic I think one has to remember that not a lot is known about Quarian physiology and I think it is also safe to say that Cerberus being human centric would not necessarily have the tech to save quarians.

heh I thought I would be one of the few out there who liked Tali! Her quest line was awesome, and the character is so deep, and her voice. So far I liked all the character quest lines, but Tali's is the best!

Tali has more fans than Wrex does. More than any character probably.

She's the one of the few characters that, should she not be included as a squad member in ME3, would cause a literal **** storm on these forums.

Tali HAS to return as a character in your squad, especially if you romance her. She is the Aerie, as I said somewhere else, of ME 2. In other words, the "good" romance option.

I do agree about her character: She's easily the most developed in the series and the best handled romance of both games.

Agreed, it seemed like Tali and Shepard actually loved each other, whereas I never got that feeling from Liara or Ash...

Also the whole immune system thing added a good twist to it.

Rofl, so true everyone would freak out, just imagine if bioware decided have her die in ME3, theres a whole thread arguing whether romacing her will cause her to die. or if its wrong cause she will always be a little sick,.

lol, that's why I'm avoiding that thread.

I can't see Bioware knowingly pissing off so many people, so here to hoping they do the right thing to avoid the potential uprising on these forums!

I get the feeling that Bioware's developers actually care about fan concerns. I imagine Tali will have the option of a sweet ending, though if you betray her I am sure she probably fades away or something sad.

100% agree with this topic. Paragon hug when you find her father was the most emotional scene in the game for me. She is the only one who genuinely misses being part of the crew of the Normandy and being by Shepard's side. Plus the romance was sweet as sugar and Mordin's comments were an unsurprising gem. I will be disappointed if she is not a major player in ME3.

I am a Tali fan from the first game and spent most of that game trying to make her my LI until I finally realized that it was not possible. She stayed in my squad all the way through each of my play troughs. They did her justice in this game. She does come off as the most complete character with the highly emotional loyalty mission and the rescue mission to get her on your team. Her reactions are spot on for me and even better this time around you can become romantically involved with her. I just wish I knew that before I made my play for Miranda but that is why you can play the game as many times as you want. Bio Ware better not let anything bad happen to Tali in ME3 or I am going to be pissed.

I am with you on everything that you said except her being the only one missing being by Shepard's side.  Liara did a lot to save you and she is fighting the Shadow Broker to kill him for the part he played in taking you away from her.  The Bio Ware team has gone out of their way to show you that she is the character that cares most for Shepard dispite who you choose as a LI in the first game.  Case in point she is fond of you in the first game regardless of who you pick to be with.  The development team themselves have stated this.  Even if she is not your LI from the first game she is the one by your side in the opening of ME2 and you had to make her leave you.  When everyone else moved on with their lives she was the only one still looking and fighting for you.  She is the reason you are alive in the second game.  Tali is still my favorite but Liara is the character that has loved you through out.

I just hope she doesn't get downplayed like the ME1 LI's.

She better stay in my squad! >:(

You and about 3/4 of the forums population, lol. Though I can't really say I disagree, because I'd be upset too (though if they handled it right I would be fine with it too).

Yeah, Tali is perfect. I just love how Shepard can tell the Admirals she's innocent and they'll accept his word at face value without needing any evidence. It's a nice feeling after dealing with the Council.

I think it's safe to say Tali will have a fairly big role in Mass Effect 3 for those who kept her alive. Chekov's got three pretty big guns aimed at the quarian homeworld, and I'm going to be damn pissed if none of the triggers ever get pulled. Besides, the LIs from ME1 were kept out so they could come back with a bigger role in ME3. I'd expect the same treatment for the ME2 LIs.

Tali and Mordin are my favorites. Them and my sentinel shep made an almighty Geek Squad of Doom.

...Which made it all the more tragic when Tali and Mordin were the only ones that didn't survive the suicide mish. I cried. D:

Tali and Mordin are my two favorite, typically my go-to squad.

Sorry to hear about that.
