Garrus comes in a close second. Talking him out of assassinating the traitor in his old squad from Omega was very intense IMO.

Tali has more fans than Wrex does. More than any character probably.
She's the one of the few characters that, should she not be included as a squad member in ME3, would cause a literal **** storm on these forums.

Agreed, it seemed like Tali and Shepard actually loved each other, whereas I never got that feeling from Liara or Ash...unclee wrote...
I do agree about her character: She's easily the most developed in the series and the best handled romance of both games.
Also the whole immune system thing added a good twist to it.

Rofl, so true everyone would freak out, just imagine if bioware decided have her die in ME3, theres a whole thread arguing whether romacing her will cause her to die. or if its wrong cause she will always be a little sick,.

lol, that's why I'm avoiding that thread.
I can't see Bioware knowingly pissing off so many people, so here to hoping they do the right thing to avoid the potential uprising on these forums!

100% agree with this topic. Paragon hug when you find her father was the most emotional scene in the game for me. She is the only one who genuinely misses being part of the crew of the Normandy and being by Shepard's side. Plus the romance was sweet as sugar and Mordin's comments were an unsurprising gem. I will be disappointed if she is not a major player in ME3.
I am with you on everything that you said except her being the only one missing being by Shepard's side. Liara did a lot to save you and she is fighting the Shadow Broker to kill him for the part he played in taking you away from her. The Bio Ware team has gone out of their way to show you that she is the character that cares most for Shepard dispite who you choose as a LI in the first game. Case in point she is fond of you in the first game regardless of who you pick to be with. The development team themselves have stated this. Even if she is not your LI from the first game she is the one by your side in the opening of ME2 and you had to make her leave you. When everyone else moved on with their lives she was the only one still looking and fighting for you. She is the reason you are alive in the second game. Tali is still my favorite but Liara is the character that has loved you through out.

I think it's safe to say Tali will have a fairly big role in Mass Effect 3 for those who kept her alive. Chekov's got three pretty big guns aimed at the quarian homeworld, and I'm going to be damn pissed if none of the triggers ever get pulled. Besides, the LIs from ME1 were kept out so they could come back with a bigger role in ME3. I'd expect the same treatment for the ME2 LIs.
