Yup of all the loyalty quests done so far, I felt Tali's was the most emotional. I liked Jack's and Jacob's... but they seemed to be over waaaaay too quick for my liking. But I'm glad Jake got over his family issues.



The paragon hug my Shep and Tali did was awesome!



and my charm trial speech rocked my socks! Plus, I got Tali off scott free!

Tali fan. Showing my love for Tali. I agree, Tali's was probably the more emotionally engaging romance also in part because of the history. Since there was backstory and a relationship there already there was no need for the caution of probing the other character out like with Miranda and Jack. It was pretty much just, "you know ... I always liked you and you know, we're on board the Normandy again, soooooo ..." straight to the good emotionally engaging stuff.



I also think they kind of endowed Tali with the love for Shepard that Tali fans have with Tali. Love her, but she wasn't available, would sooooo romance her if it was an option. That's how she is with Shepard, he wasn't available, but when they meant again the coast is clear so to speak and it's made pretty clear that she has a crush on you.

i agree, i tried the different kind of love romance (since i did separate saves before romancing one) and the best one was tali's in my opinion, its just that her personality really matches and she havent change much compare to the others one who seem to have move on and all, i hope bioware still does a awesome job with tali in mass effect 3, my fav were tali and legion.

Tali and Legion as a team are incredibly powerful if you have biotic powers. Legion tears through enemies and Tali with a shotgun and her tech skills can pack a mean punch. Add to that mix me throwing around singularities like no tomorrow and most enemies, even Harbringer, were dead within moments.



That said, I hope to continue the romance in ME 3. Sorry Ashley and Liara...this Shepherd has moved on.

It would be an overload on the cute factor if at the end of ME 3, you and Tali settle down on a new Quarian homeworld of some sort.

Though with Tali, I believe it is Chitikka vas Paws or something like that.

Well, the first squad betrayed her so I'm not sure if that can be blamed on her really and the second time she was with a whole squad of Quarian troops who got in way over thier heads on a mission given to them by the Admiralty Board.  And given what we see of the Admiralty Board during her trial I  think it's safe to ssume Tali is likely a fine leader (or at least a good soldier/tech)   herself but her superiors are the inept and incompetent ones. 

I  understand where you're coming from withTali being in two very bad situations where lots of her people die but I'm not completely sure if the situations went bad because of her actions or decisions.  Just saying....

Great thing I love about Tali is that she loves Shepard- weather as a romance for a male, or a good friend to a male or female Shepard, she is the one squaddie who I think really truly loves you.



Anyone else hear her comm chatter about wishing Shepard was here? Man, that got to me

Garrus comes in a close second. Talking him out of assassinating the traitor in his old squad from Omega was very intense IMO.

I must say, the vent mission was the first time I felt "Real" pressure in a videogame before.  I was worried Id be cooking my Tali RI alive!  T__T  But only for her to eat a bullet at the end...That suxzored..

She tells female Shepherd that she would share her suit with you, doesn't she? Then it is never followed up...probably because it would be too hot for TV or something. Personally, she seems like the type more interested in a companion type relationship so that is a bummer for fem-sheps...

I am with you on the second point.  She was put in a no win situation the second time around and the first was because they didnt listen to her.  Well I guess that is part of being a leader you command loyalty and not every one has the thing that makes Shepard special.

I know being femshep sorta sucks... all the wrong romance options.... only jacob really appeals to me, but I hooked up with Liara in ME1.....



Still Tali will be my best buddy evar instead of hot romance...

Cute indeed. The dork side of me is acting up though. They explain quarins don't get their environmental suits until they hit adolescence. Still, works as a cute chibi Tali.

You do have that option during one of the conversations when you're looking for her father, I think it was to the side I associate with Renegade options, and Shep will say "If he won't I will"

To this thread in general I agree that Tali is easily the best developed squad member in the game, with the most lifelike emotional reactions and the best handled romance subplot. Forget Liara and Ashley, Bioware should most definitely give the Tali romance the ability to import and wonderfully conclude in ME3. always part of the go-to squad, usually with Garrus though, even though he doesn't have many interesting stories like he did in ME1. Anyway, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy all the way. With all the crap she had to deal with in this game, it seems the least Bioware could do to make her and Shepard work out in ME3.

  Is it just me, or was the whole character of Tali, and Shepards interactions with her, done perfectly? Especially on Tali's loyalty mission, I got all sad when she found her father =( and during the trial I was like, Ace Attorney, Commander Shepard! And as for the romance and if it can work, yes think about it, you are now a part of Cerebus, who saved Shepard from deep space and somehow brought him back, I think that they are quite capable of healing Tali if she gets sick.

The dialogue and events that happen between Tali and Shepard is the reason I just decide to go ahead and romance her. She deserves it, and Shep needed some lovin' anyway.

You are not the only one that feels that way.  Tali is my favorite character in the game but I said it before in this tread.  Liara is the one Bio Ware clearly wants to be seen as the true love for Shepard.  Her loyalty and feelings for him go past every decision you make in the game.
