I wouldn't know about Ashley. She was nuked on Virmire.

After seeing how she reacts to you in ME2, I wish I had done the same. When you first see Ash, Its exciting, but then Ash turns into a total b***h because your working with cerberus, and pretty much teels you she's done. But later she sends you a cute email, but it seems like a sad attempt at try'n to keep you with her, regaurdless of how she acts.

The differance between Ash and Tali, Tali seems to know Shepard better.  I was personally like "Where is the trust, Ash???, we went through hell togeather and you claim to love Shepard, but its Tali that stays by his side no matter what".  If I could have "dumped" Ash on the coloney, I would have.

Tali is incredibly cute when she's all confused and worried and nervous. Hehe.

Completely agree with Tali being the perfect character in ME2, and IMO was the canon love interest in the game given her recruitment/loyalty missions and conversations.

It would be a tragedy if it were not possible to have her available for ME3... I dread the thought. Likewise for Garrus as well tbh.

Garrus and Tali are the best characters in the game, between the character development and dialogue.

And wrex! ((Sorry Wrex is just to much of a fing badass to ignore)).

Very true. I kept Tali and Wrex in my squad the entire time in ME 1. Garrus was awesome but didn't match my playstyle (Bastion Adept).

I can't wait for Me3 If my dreams come true I can have duel krogan team mates Wrex and Grunt charging in ripping anything apart. =p

I'm worried that Tali and Garrus might not get the attention they deserve in ME3 because of the chance they might die in ME2. It would be fantastic if they were in your party in the next game, having followed you through til the end of the Reaper threat, and of course those who will no doubt want to continue romancing them if they did so. It would be a shame to have developed those characters so well (especially Tali in her loyalty mission!) to just discard them. I'm sure the respective legions of fans for both will let Bioware know, lol.

I'd be more worried over none LI characters getting the back burner Really I don't think bioware going to chock now that they see the finish line ME3 may take a damn long time to make and it may cost a hell of allot of money ((All the voice actors for every kind of of scenario)) But Me3 will be epic.

Can we say 4 disk long game.. YES WE CAN!

Tali is the most loyal and kindest character of the team members next to Garrus (loyal wise) imo if she isnt in ME3, I wont buy the damn game

Must partake in the Tali love.

Ever since I played Mass Effect, my favorite character was Tali, she was just too much fun, and the writers did an excellent job with her in Mass Effect 2. Between the regret you can hear in her voice in her logs from her recruitment mission, to her reaction to being romanced, it was just awesome.

After finishing ME2, I now have to go back to ME1, romance no one, just to import it into ME2, and run the ultimate Tali love playthrough.

Also, giving her the "Go for the optics" was just legendary, I almost died when I first heard her order her drone to do it.

For anyone who doesn't get why that's awesome, go grab Baldur's Gate 2.

Anyone that thinks Bioware wouldn't tick off fans of a particular romance shipping should probably romance {redacted} in Dragon Age first before saying anything... that still smarts.

Tali must be in ME3, as much as she was in ME1 and 2.

That includes Garrus as well.

Unless they died in ME2 of course.

My idea is this: Every surviving member from ME2 will be your team mate in ME3, and possibly with the addition of several characters or return of old ones, whatever.

Bioware can develop these 10 guys further to ensure all are good and available in the 2nd game since so much depends on who you pick to be where and such in ME2 that any of them could die or live, and removing them all as an excuse would be... bad, worse than Ashley/Kaiden, much, much worse.

Another thing is that they seemed to be poorly developed (well some of them) in ME2, which is another reason for them to stay and develop more characteristics in ME3.

As a person who has finished Dragon Age multiple times and took said romance in his first playthrough, it did smart at first, but in all honesty, it should have been expected.

Unless something cataclysmic occurs, I can't see them doing to Tali paramours what they did with the aforementiond Dragon Age character paramours.

There will be a 4th though, right?
I mean, if they complete ME3 and even if Shepard isn't the main character for it, I want this world to continue dang it. I want it sooo bad.

I was glad to finally be able to romance Tali in ME2, but I'm still secretly longing for Liara and hoping Ashley will forgive me someday. I don't think my Shepard likes Liara anymore though (she was my ME1 romance), because the picture portraying her in the Captain's Cabin disappeared. :(

Oh well, we'll see in ME3. Can't wait!

Honestly, I'm behind this thought process completely. The crew stays together, and you activly go out to recruit even more team members, like Ash/Kaiden, Liara, Wrex, some new characters, and Anderson to join your cause.

Oh, and it's funny. I was originally always a Liara kinda guy (or girl, as I usually play as), but I kinda started coming around to liking Tali the most just before ME 2 came out. When I found out she was romancable, I created a male, single guy and finished it in less then a week to get ready for the game. My first play through was with one of my female Shepards. By the end, I was activly sad my poor Shepard couldn't get her adorable Quarian. Oh, and yeah, I cried at Tali's loyalty mission when she found her father and I hugged her.

Long story short, Tali is awesome. Hell, if this series ends, I want a spin off title with Tali and Legion working together to try to prevent a 2nd Quarian/Geth war. The more Tali in my video gaming, the better.

That is all I ask. This is a wonderful universe.
I'd love to see a small ship, only a handful of crew going through the universe. Something that's civilian in scope, but not like Cerburus.

Or whatever they do. Bioware has earned my trust and love.

I agree Tali is one of my favorite sci fi characters, I love the way Bioware wrote her she's just really cute at times When she sends her little kill ball thing out *Can't remember her name* "Good Girl *Name Here* Go get them!" XD I lol'd

I loved her backstory too baby Tali in a bubble *dies from the cute x.x* or finding out about the promise of building an home for her. I totally wanted an option of saying something like "I'll build that home for you Tali, I promise!"

One of the options in her Loyalty mission goes something like this: "You'll see your homeworld again Tali, if the admirals can't do it, I will."

Yeah, after the greeting I got from Ashley, I'm replaying ME1 to get a save file where I've left her holding the business end of a nuclear explosion. Serves her right. :innocent:

I've always liked Tali. Garrus is still my favorite, but I like them both for similar reasons. You can't beat the fact that they have the potential to be the only two of your squad-mates who were with you throughout the trilogy - they know Shepard better than anyone and they will have been through more together than anyone else, including the other romance options.

I think that makes for a more epic story and more meaningful relationships too. They're the two standbys - the ones you can always count on.
