Kelly died during my mission to, but it was not intentional some of the dialougue options just had me confused.

I'm actually happy you still don't get to see her face. They angled the romance shot perfectly to keep the mystery. It's part of her character. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Tali is Biowares first piorady in ME3, if they **** her up. they **** them selfs up.

In the first game Tali didn't do anything. I never used her, and didn't care for her that much. So when I found her in the second game I was like "really?". But by the end of the game my attitude completely changed and she is now one my favorite characters. Good job Bioware!

That poll was about the sexiest character by the way.



Although the asari bartender in Eternity is my favorite female character (followed by Jack and by an inch later, Ash), I wouldn't call them the sexiest chars. I mean, it's not necessarily a popularity issue.

Take this: Personally, I think the sexiest female in the game (talking about the body) is obviously Miranda. At the same time I don't like her character that much, I tried to discover something interesting about her, but there were nothing - for me.



For the sake of experiment, I made a poll a while back to see who will be left on the Normandy on missions, and Tali got a pretty big chunk of score. It was an interesting result. A lot of people loves her while a lot of people says, hey, just another teenage girl in a suit. Personally, I'm no fan neither a hater of her, I like the character, but that's about it. The species are interesting in a way.



Anyways, as for the 'see her face' suggestion, I'd say, leave it as it is. The misterious is always more tempting.



By the way the topic title is misleading, as it doesn't point on the content. It's more like 'Tali's character is delivered perfectly'. Which I don't buy, but I do agree that it was very well done. Because the character itself is nice, but faaar from perfect.

Funny, I've never liked anything about Miranda's appearance. Not my thing I guess. Tali, despite the weird hands and feet has a very nice body, not too over the top, just nice. I like that it didn't go to any extremes, and her personality reflected that. Tali's character and physical presence finds so many of those, "Happy Mediums" that stay away from one extreme or another. I think that's why I like her. Nothing's too much, it's all "Just enough, and at the right times and places."

I can't agree on the reasoning, it's not about tempting. It's more about, "This is Tali, her face doesn't matter - we already know who and what she is." At the end of the day, she's your friend, you may romance her, but at her core she's a trusted and trusting ally and friend. I can't think of anything better than having a trusted ally and friend at your side.

Tali's definately the best character in the game. At first I wasn't too sure, but further into the game I realized that Bioware had done a good job developing her as a character.

I agree. For me it was the choice between the looks of Miranda because she is beyond sexy  or the unbelievable cuteness of Tali which feels so honest and true. That's how it felt anyway. I just couldn't do it to Tali. She is the greatest character i ever seen in a RPG game ever

I love Tali. Undoubtedly my favourite character in both ME1 and ME2. If she doesn't make a return in ME3, I will never forgive BioWare. NEVER. You hear me?!!

can you do this with Miranda? I was only given the response before the
love scene and the suicide mission. Didn't see a way to invite her up
to the cabin after the suicide mission.

I guess you can with whoever you romance. I haven't tried it though.
I finished the suicide mission and went on to scan the rest of the planets and do the sidemissions i had left. After a couple of those the "invite Tali" on the intercom in the captains cabin came available. Now i can rest in bed with Tali or Sit on the couch with her

Dunno, I find Jack's romance more involved emotionally. And... well, in any other way.

Tali rules.

Every positive thing said about her in this thread has my immediate co-sign on it.

To that end, all the characters in these games are really beautifully done but there's something special about Tali and the way her relationship develops and grows between herself and Shepherd in ME2, especially if you start romancing her, is just handled wonderfully.

Although I do like Tali as a character (I said like... not that she was the best) she will most likely have to play a lesser role, or at the very most just a squadmate roll in Mass Effect 3. Given she can die at the end of Mass Effect 2, I think it's pretty safe to assume they would not make her as important of a character as they did in ME2 (she's the first person you reunite with, etc). She'll be in ME3, obviously, or everyone in this thread would bomb Bioware HQ, but she'll most likely be a minor character or standard squadmate at best.
