Was a bit disappointed in the choices for female Shepard as well, through at least her choices aren't as bad as in ME1.

After the final mission Kelly will ask you to invite her up to your room. She has 3 different stripper-esque dances she performs for you, you can have her sit on your lap, and you can snuggle on the bed with her. It's not just dinner and fish-feeding unless you romanced someone else.



Kelly does go both ways too. You have to flirt with her, have dinner with her, save her life (obviously), and not romance anyone else to get her romance.

SuZe is a romance - in my opinion the very best one in the game -
In case you're not only interested in her... biological talents, but the personality that hides behind her tattoos and wild attitude.
Well, if you wanna try it out in a playthrough, telling her that 'yes, I want you' then immidiatley that you wanna know her before you do anything initiates the romance for sure.

Shame it is not a real romance. I guess it is constellation prize for people sticking with ME 1 LI's.

Though I would've been the luckiest being on earth if Tali was also a femShep romance, I'm really surprised how sweet the Garrus romance actually was.



Garrus romance was (not surprising) the male equivalent of the Tali romance. Not as cute as Tali's, but very close.

Seeing as how this is an active Romance thread I just wanted to ask something, I finished the game having cheated on Liara, but if I do the New Game + is she still in love with me for the next playthrough as that character?

I ask because I want one at least to be with her until Mass Effect 3.

Yeah, ending snuggle options are all canned and Kelly is the only one who dances. Nothing unique to anybody. Noticed if I reject the romance at the end the picture of the ME1 romance is back up on the desk. Glad I didn't need a whole playthrough just to stay loyal (tough, based on how whacky the ME1 romances act when you see them).

Even if I romance nobody on my playthrough, I would like the option to break up with Liara.



She's not the Liara she used to be. Her creepy behavior on Illium made my femShep flee into the arms of a guy... until he died. Hah, homosexual heroes are sure cursed people.

How? I romanced Miranda, beat the game, talked to her and she gave me the whole "I'll come up when things are quiet" line. What am I doing wrong?

Fish/lizard man, burned up birdman or ho-hum human.  Yeah, Femshep got "screwed" IMO but maybe I'll just maintain whatever relationship is left with Liara.  Still if there was F/F option I'd totally go with Tali for my Femshep as she is by far my favorite squadmate right now but alas I'll definitely go that route with one of my Malesheps.

Tali kicked A** in this game. At least she's flirty enough with femshep that ignoring what Bioware says makes her still a romance...in my mind at least.

I thought Garrus and Thane were both well-written.

I thought they were all well-written for type of relationship it was meant to be.

With my paragon Shep romancing Garrus, I just couldn't bring renegade Shep to perform the mushy lines needed for Thane's. Jacob's involvement was a good way for this FemShep to keep her characterization.

The closest thing I got with Kelly was inviting her up to my cabin for dinner. I didn't get the feeling that anything sexually happened, it felt like drinking and flirting was all that happened. Is that the romance that everyone is talking about?

No, that's one of the stepping-stones though.

The actual romance takes place after the final mission, assuming you both survived and also assuming you didn't romance any of the other squadmates.

I liked Tali's character since the first game, so I was happy to have that as an option.
