My friend is having a problem with his Mass Effect 2. He's been playing it
since launch on the 26th, and has just suddenly encountered a problem with his
game.
Basically, after launching the game, watching the intros, arriving at the
'Press Any Key Screen' - after the screen pulls back to go to the main menu, it
suddenly crashes for him.
Now, he's having some trouble with launching a few internet programs, such as
steam or EA download manager, so I believed it may have been to do with the
Ceberus network? Since isn’t it entirely possible that such a problem, would
cause the game to crash upon trying to update the network screen?
Anyway, has anyone else run into this problem? Or a well know a common
solution to fixing such crashes? As I said, he's been playing the game for
awhile without any problems, just finished the Normandy
crash Site DLC I believe, so it's odd this is just occurring now.
He hasn't changed anything recently, other than download the new DLC.
Specs are:
Windows XP 32-Bit
ATI Raedon HD2400 XT
1.5GB RAM
Intel Pentium IV @ 3.2 GHZ
140GB Free Harddrive Space
So any help or common solutions would be appreciated.
