You're asking about the renegade option specifically? What does that one do? I know the paragon solution was great and maintained loyalty...

According to the strategy guide, there is no Renegade option to solve said conflict.

To balance that, in Samara's loyalty mission, I think there is an option that is only renegade. I couldn't do the paragon choice even though I was almost maxed out.

That isn't true, I've done it. But you need an extremely high amount of renegade points.izmirtheastarach wrote...

I did the Paragon option for this mission. In the end, I killed Morinth, but I could have killed either.

I've done the renegade but I was full, something about crushing them under my heel if they start their petty disputes now.

Holy ****!! Your dude looks like Terminator. I guess I should play Renegade once for that. Gonna create the ugliest sob the galaxy has seen.
So do I need a full Paragon bar to solve it, too?

Full bar, I think it's required too much.

Both choices opened up to resolve the conflict on my first playthrough when my para/renegade bars were more or less half and half, howver when I pretty much went full renegade on my second go ...neither option opened up.
So screw it, Tali sucks anyway, don't even know why she rejoined my team after she left last time because I wouldn't give her the Geth data from the Armstrong Nebula mission in ME1 .. She's a whiney, ungateful bint especially after you saved her from Sarens goons in the alley on the Citadel, AND resepcted her fathers memory in her trial. Pssshhh, I'm a send her in the vents to get a blast to the face (hopefully)

the paragon/renegade checks are determined by your level, unfortunately, alot of the end game ones like this will require near 100%, if you've maxed out at level 30. I had this issue with new game plus, lost Miranda's loyalty, but only gained it back AFTER getting my paragon points for destroying the base and talking to the crew afterward

It depends on what level you are when it happens.
