Error says: The game needs access to the internet in order to verify ownership of this game. Please ensure that your computer is online and try again.
Bought mass effect yesterday via download, tried to install... installed bringing down the sky patch or whatever it is called... I get the error above every time.
I'm using windows 7 64...
I have searched everywhere for a solution to the problem and nothing has worked. Does anyone have a solution for this that they know works?
DRM = never buying from ea again... ever.
can't access internet error: ANY solution?!

also, i have run it as a admin, disabled firewalls... etc etc etc.
