Hey there forumites,

I come because i need help with a problem. Because of the release of ME2, i wanted to have a ME1 save first to import it, and thus i started playing ME1 again. I already had it via steam (digital version), installed it, voila.
Now, the problem is that in the four times i played it, upon getting to the pre-menu screen (where you have to hit a button), or while in the game itself, the computer shuts down. completely. no warning.

Then i cant start up my computer for another 2 minutes. This has happened three times, and only while playing/being busy with Mass effect 1. This also seems pretty bad for my computer itself.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Oh, mistake sorry, meant to place it in the PC section. Can a mod move it?

I'd guess it is a heat Problem. try cleaning your computer by removing dust an stuff from your CPU / VGA Coolers.

and i suggest updating your drivers if the problem persists

Hmm, well my computer is fairly new (as in, 10 days), and im not such an intensive user, so it might be the driver. I'll try!
