 the damage of this gun seems rather weak...
just saved Garrus and picked up his burst fire assault rifle...that gun seems much more powerful :/

they said these guns wouldnt be Uber powerful to unbalance the game still like my M-490 in the fact that anything without sheilding dies and anything with any form of armor/shielding loses it all after the explosion.

It tears through shields. That's the point, it's weak on flesh but gets shields down quickly.

You can't unbalance a single player game. That said, I really used none of the bonus equipment. Just doesn't interest me.

Yes I concur the Black whole gun owns I've seen 8 enemies get sucked into it, lol



The Collectors rifle is better for tearing down sheilds It does its job the Vindicator is more balanced. What I do is have a teammate with the collectors weapon & 1 with the Vindicator

I used it on one mission, then went back to my Vindicator (the only one I've come across so far aside from the starter AR).

The Collector AR might be good against shields, but I prefer an AR that's decent across the board - and I like the burst fire (even though I've been playing a fair amount of shooters the last two years, I still have a tendency to leave my finger on the trigger a bit too long on full auto rifles).



I love the Incisor sniper rifle though.

Barely on topic, but how much better is the 2nd assaut rifle than the 1st anyway? I gave the original to Legion just because I thought it seemed to fit him better, and he was tearing through enemies left and right.

Unshielded Collectors go down mighty quickly when you turn it on them...just don't use it on armor.

I really like the Blackstorm myself but I found it's far more useful as a big crowd control weapon rather than something like the Beam Weapon or Missile Launcher that's intended to take down tough bosses like Pratoreans. 

And I know it's cliche' but I love the Cain mini-nuke, was so glad I brought that on the last mission, finished off that oversized husk with it and actually yelled at my TV in the classic C&C commando voice, "Hey! I got a present for ya!!"
