Yes, ive seen topics where all the Paragons are confused about Conrad claiming a gun was pointed in his face and what not, but i played Renegade and actually put a gun in his face, and basically told him to screw off on three separate occasions, to the point where he almost broke down and cried.

And then late in ME1, i was in an elevator and heard a report that Conrad was killed when he went into a bar and pissed off some Turians. Shot and killed.

So to my surprise...i walk into Illium and lo and behold...there is Conrad being annoying at the bar.

Why is he alive?...oh wait, let me guess, the Lazurus Project was actually intended to revive Conrad Verner, the REAL savior of Humanity, but they had some leftover cash and decided he was nothing without his sidekick shepard.

Developer oversight is most likely the case or you picked the wrong import save where you thought he was killed.

Because he's Conrad. He can't be stopped by some game mechanic or "death".

I kind of like that he "died" in my ME1 and came back. He really lightened up the mood. I hope he comes back in ME3 even though he once again was killed....lol.

It's a bug. Everybody knows this by now, I thought. Your choices regarding Conrad in ME 1 don't affect what he does in ME 2. At least not yet. perhaps a patch will be introduced at some point, perhaps not. But there's your answer. It's broken.

Yeah, I heard  it from a news report on Illum. Apparently after our chat he tried to save a bus full of children or something and fell to his death.

Or Bioware will say that Conrad's life was saved by a passing Salarian (maybe Mordin Solus?) and lo and behold, there he is.

Edit: I think Bioware has a golden opportunity to turn this bug into a running gag with ME3. If Conrad dies in ME2, he comes back in ME3 for no apparent reason and subsequently (if you're Renegade or neutral, and don't discourage himn to be foolish) gets himself killed AGAIN.

yeah, for some reason I did the paragon choice with him in ME1 and now he isn't there?
although it does kind of make sense because the paragon choice told him not to try to be a hero or specter...
still disappointing for me though :(

So basically he becomes the "Kenny" of ME universe? I like it. Make it so.

Because Cerberus funded Project Conrazerus to bring Conrad Verner back from the dead.

Conrad is secretly the head Reaper.
